I just lost all interest in Call of Duty since "Ghosts" came out. The game is horrid. I max prestiged BLOPs 2 and returned Ghosts. Thats how fast i went from CoD super fan to a Battlefield player.

Is it me or do the developer guys in the ad, look like even they dont give a cracklin' crap about the game anymore? Its either apathy or sad hope that someone cares about Michael friggin' Myers being in a random map of Call of Duty.

Im so disappointed in what they did to the series.

Treyarch is a immeasurably better game maker, so if the franchise can be saved, they will find a way.

I don't play CoD, but I was actually kind of into that fog map until they went cross-promotion with it.

My first thought was how dumb, but the more I am thinking of running around a map that is meant for run and gun and I am the bad guy with an axe just chopping people it appeals to me. I will hold out for the Jason DLC, because the "Ch-Ch-Ch Ha-ha-ha" would be just great to play.

It would also be nice if there was a mode where the military was sent in to hunt down one of the horror greats.

I almost wish they hadn't announced the whole Michael Myers thing. I think having fans stumble upon it would've been an awesome move for them.

First thing, I wish ol' Mike had a knife as his primary and his melee was just picking you up off the ground by the throat. I kind of like the idea of a FPS slasher mashup, but not enough to go back to Ghost. Just not my cup of tea.

My 13 year old brother-in-law is a huge fan of Ghosts, so he will like this.

Maps look alright. As someone who has been mostly disappointed with the maps since mw2 an update of scrapyard is interesting and somewhat exciting. The michael myers thing is bizarre and seems really misinformed, but also looks to be just a reskin of the maniac killstreak. Normally i'd be all over the season pass but after getting burned on MW3 i'll wait and see.

The likes of Chasm, Stonehaven and Siege are among the largest maps in any CoD game. I've had plenty of rounds where I've been running round for ages looking for someone on Siege in particular!

Making the maps much bigger would be regrettable given the "communities" penchant for hiding in corners and avoiding conflict.

This looks like a really solid pack. Would definitely buy this if I had a next-gen console to play Ghosts on.

lol @ "It's actually TWO new weapons" wooooah now! I've been trying to enjoy Ghosts on PS4. I have nothing against CoD games, but I've been playing it more because PS4 is lacking good shooters (Yeah BF4 is better. I play it on PC though). I'll probably buy this on impulse while looking for something to play on a late drunken night, but this preview didn't excite me at all.

I'm assuming they couldn't get Jason. Because, that 'Fog' map looks like Jason's hunting grounds. And as others here have mentioned, I can't recall Michael Myers ever using an axe. I'm sure he has, at some point. Right? I mean, he's killed enough people that he had to use one at some point. But, his weapon of choice isn't an axe.

But, whatever.

Yeah, I was almost immediately a little offended by how out-of-place this use of Myers was. Sure, Halloween's had a massive fall from grace since 1978, but goddamn if that first film wasn't a masterpiece.

i've played every call of duty game and have always enjoyed them, but, fuck activision and M$ for continuing this on M$ first bullshit and for jumping the shark with the cameo nonsense of washed charters no one cares about.

you know what, i stopped even bothering to play ghosts anymore. been enjoying Killzone: Shadow Fall far more. It's not a laggy pile of shit and its not full of dude-bro duche bags and 13 year olds screaming.

Can you imagine having these "hype" videos back when Half-Life, TFC, CS, was a thing? Every new Official map(s) getting a trailer basically making up BS about why it's so "extreme"

Me and my buddies used to a play a game in MW2 where one player could only melee (w/ Commando) and everyone else couldn't attack and we called it "Michael Meyers". I don't know if that was a widespread thing or not, though.

Yeah being invited to a "Michael Myers lobby" has been a thing for a while, I'd say that this dlc is definitely a nod to the "community."

I was burned out on CoD after CoD4. Only spent a week with MW2 before I gave it up. I haven't played a CoD game since this Christmas when I played Black Ops 2. I liked it a lot, but I think taking a number of years off away from the franchise made it more fun for me. I picked up Ghosts for the Wii U and it's certainly one of the better experiences on the Wii U for players in the same room.

I understand the hate and fatigue after so many releases, but not having stuck with the series, I'm having a blast. Ghosts has a lot to offer, it's just too bad Activision has milked the cow to near death.
