Too bad I suck at these games. I'll be interested for the single player campaign, though. The last two were great.

It's popular and it's published by Activision. Plus, many original dev members left/were fired after that fiasco with the IW heads which leaves a bad tastes in everyone's mouths.

If you don't have the dignity to demand improved content as the years go by, willing to pay the same full price for the same game being rehashed over and over just because others are doing it, you're an idiot.

if you don't have the brains to notice that the once magical industry of video games where you could find any concept, theme or idea, actually being used and tried in videos games, turn into a generic innovation-less competition fest because COD is having smashing sales, you're an idiot.

look at the world pre-MW :

There was Battlefield 2, considered one of the greatest most sophisticated online FPS games of all time

There was Crysis, a game that went against the current by being a PC exclusive, pushing technology to the limit, and creating a charming living world consisting of a tropical island + big mountain terrains

In addition to many, many games that could actually be distinguished by just gazing at their screenshots

now look what's happening: Crysis 2 crushed the fucking fans of the series by turning into a COD clone. Battlefield 3 went multiplat and is having "we're lowering the threshold" as it's motto, etc..

I'm not a COD hater, COD1 was my very first 'serious' shooter and i loved it, i also enjoyed COD2, and MW and W@W are also both quality products that i enjoyed single and multiplayer

but then i purchased MW2, and i noticed how this series is now designed to shit on us. i paid 60$ for the PC version and all i got was MW1, except it had minor tweaks.. did i just pay full price for those tweaks?

and then i happily pirated Black Ops, and i wasn't mistaken. it was more of the fucking same.

it's time to try and make a fucking stand, because video games as we know them are getting disfigured by the explosive existence of Call of Duty.

Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo: Reach. ( Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars)

I think Halo: Reach is a good stopping point for bungie and me. I DO NOT want to see any Halo video game for five years at least, until they come up with fresh and awesome ideas about what to do with the franchise. I had enough Halo, I don't care about it anymore.


COD ... (lots of games) ... COD MW3.

I played COD 1, 2, 3 and first MW and I can say that's enough for me. I gave it a try to Black Ops but it didn't caught me, for me it's over, I don't want to play more COD games, COD4 was the last one for me, I enjoyed it and loved it but that's it, no more COD games, please.

But I have to tell you something, I have a friend, he just got his Xbox 360 and he had heard about these COD games and he even played one of them a little. He is excited for these games because for him Black Ops is his first COD game.

So I think many of us are just tired of these COD games, we know the formula very well and it doesn't attract us anymore. It doesn't mean that COD games are totally bad, they use the same formula and it happens to be brand new for some gamers who haven't played previous games and for them these games are awesome and they probably are, it's just that we don't care anymore.

I laughed my ass off when it said am3rica. In my head I was just "MURICUH'!!"

This game title needs more Xx's and maybe some 187's. Possibly some 420's.

I'm quite interested how bad this will be.

Guessing that places like Australia is boned with promotional videos like this or just about any country without an E in the name.

Activision releases a "teaser" trailer because of leaks. Who are they kidding, when everyone knew that the next CoD game is a MW sequel. Seriously Activision?

I'm interested in seeing how well the story-line is this time and judging from the video's and location's presented, it might just end up being great! Granted that they actually take time to develop it correctly this time!

And yes, most games released yearly are derivative and barely average experiences. If you're impressed year after year with the majority of videogames, you are the IGN community.

Perhaps people should wait a bit longer before they deem this game to be the "same ole, same ole" or GOTY. I find that talk going hand in hand with the cliche "but i'm a free will thought gamer" to be quite ironic. Unless of course you just assume this game is going to be a pure walkie-talkie/ green map viewing simulation, to which I say judge on.
