Wow you mean I can get a game made by a team of developers that isn't even the same as the ones who made the real games which I hated to begin with which probably uses the same engine as the other two but "heavily tweaked" put out only just shortly after another dumbass game in the franchise game that also came out that I had 0 interest in? Golly!

I feel like all the cool stuff in this game is going to look a lot like "Homefront"...

The level of hate for CoD is getting pretty stupid, yo. I'm not overly fond of activation's practices but the games are high quality products, if not too repetitive. It's cool if you're not interested in the games or don't particularly like them, but what's constructive about raging like an ADD addled 13 year old? I just opt not to buy games I'm not interested in and leave it at that, myself (it's what I did with BLOPS). It certainly doesn't waste as much energy as going on a tall poppy syndrome-fueled rampage.

A teaser for MW3... really? How can you tease something that everyone knew was coming? Is there any gamer on this planet that did not already know that another Call of Duty game was coming this fall?

you mean the leaks? i doubt they would leak spoilers to their game. not to mention by revealing it before e3, they pretty much killed the surprise. my guest was this teaser was released way earlier than they initially planned because the leaked forced their hand.

I'm surprised they didn't flip the  M or W to make it a 3 considering how ugly that logo already is.

I do not at all have anything against this, except a suspected misplaced loyalty to the old IW, the number 3, and the fact the trailer was simply and only a less dramatic renumeration of that first one for MW2 when they are as it turns out, in the elevator at the airport. To tell the truth, I really enjoyed MW2, and want to replay MW. I'm going to break down and purchase MW on Steam so I can have a virtual copy  along with MW2

But even I am wondering where this is going. Very strange.

Yeah this whole "Mainstream games are so lame" reminds me of middle school where all the emo kids hated music just because the artist did well and people liked them.
