Alex Navarro pretty much said EXACTLY what I was going to say. Nailed it.

This is gonna cost me a fortune.

course.

I get it

I have this theory that there's a Lovecraftian abomination taking residence below Pixar studios. There's an unmarked door, and when you enter it, you become upon a labyrinth that leads to a monster of tentacles and sucking pores. Its size is unimaginable.

The only sound it makes is more cars.

...I don't get it.

doesn't the game have to released before you can say the next thing is out

Disney + Skylanders = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

That video description is bang on the nose, Alex.

Money!

Title should read:

Cars Is the Next Disney Property Heading to Infinity and Beyond!

Tie those pixar franchises together.

@haltiamreptar: That's just Emeryville, you get used to the sucking.

C'mon Disney, you've got so many other characters besides Pixar, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Pirates!

Bring back the Ducktales!!!!!

I don't really understand what this game is yet but I'm still kind of interested.

I don't like Cars but I think they can do some cool things with them like races.

It was really just a matter of course.

Anyone else think these graphics are a little sub-par? mainly the character textures.

The kid of my family friend who likes Skylanders used to like Cars. When he finds out about this HE'S GOING TO FLIP THE FUCK OUT.

The next movie after Monsters Inc. 2 should be Cars 3. I can't wait to buy more toy cars.

This thing is just printing money.

The video description should really read "Because they like gold chains and diamond pieces."

Anyone else think it is strange they have focused so much on pixar franchises?

It was a great header/subheader. I think Navarro's writing has improved significantly over the last few months.

I've changed my mind. I'm going to roll Brave and buy a giant Wall-E mount so I can crush all the other players. And when the Wall-E opens its chest cavity, a swarm of cars will spill out and clean up the survivors.

Can you name the last Disney movie that came out that wasn't made by Pixar? I think it would be strange if they tried doing this without Pixar.

Its good to know that theyre getting their absolute worst property out of the way first, because now I can be certain that I don't care about Infinity.

Posted by JCGamer

Man, I know that this isn't targeted to me, but this looks totally uninteresting.

Posted by RedCricketChase

I'm guessing that the purple one is the female? And the rusty brown one with the buckteeth is a hillbilly? :\

I hope they don't release too many playsets too fast. Got to have a steady pace, I want some of their television shows represented. Phineas and Ferb FTW :)

Posted by oasisbeyond

At first... I was like... This is a 720 game? Cuz people are calling it the Infinity... Now, I realize it's not.

Posted by Mumrik

Cars - the perfect soulless cash cow.

Posted by mrcraggle

This is seeming more and more like Pixar: Infinity rather than Disney. Where are the cartoons and movies they're famous for?

Really? "Because of course [it is/they are/they did/etc.]" is pretty much Alex's catchphrase. Sure, it's a pertinent header this time, but he still heavily overuses it everywhere but The Guns of Navarro, where he writes somewhat more formally. Seriously, go back and watch any Happy Hour or TNT or Quick Look where Alex mentions the actions of a movie studio, director, large publisher, or real any well known business entity: he is all but guaranteed to use that phrase.

It's a little semantically frustrating, since the phrase following "because" isn't actually a reason or cause, and is instead merely expressing that it's the behaviour you would expect. It barely means anything.

I think Alex can be a fine writer, but I still am not a fan of him when he is speaking conversationally, because all of his turns of phrase are trying too hard to be sarcastic and some barely make any sense.
