this is a very odd choice for the main character model, but the game looks AWESOME!

Apparently the demo is available for everyone in Europe on PSN right now, but no demo release for the US until Oct. 5th.

Oh DAMN that brings me back to my youth. Loading up Castlevania IV, selecting the music player from the main menu and just chilling out to the tunes. I got into the Amiga demo scenes and mods, but nothing moved me like the best compositions on the super nintendo.

I found the "announcer" in the video to be really annoying. That aside, I'm actually interested in this game now :P

Felt very spoiler heavy for a "trailer".

So from what I've seen of the trailer, this has the visual style of Devil May Cry, the combat system of God of War, and they have a few Shadow of the Colossus fights for good measure. Not a bad mix when you consider thous are the best elements from each of thous respective games. Also, saying that they're just copying thous games is unfair, cause I'm sure that thous three games all borrowed elements from the previous Castlevania games anyway.

Just gonna throw this out there, Zobek may betray you. I'm kinda gettin that vibe from him in this trailer. I didn't from the last one, but this one, I dunno...

Bout time somebody directly copied off of Shadow of the Colossus.
 
Looks like a good God of War clone too... With the short slow-mo sequence when doing a counter block and everything.  Not to mention the chain whip attacks looking similar (Then again how else are ya gonna use a chain thing).
 
I'll get it when it's cheaper but I think my "anything Castlevania!" rabid friend of mind will enjoy this a lot.

This game wasn't even a blip on my radar, but this trailer may have just sold me. Excellent use if super castlevania IV's music too!

Snark aside, this doesn't look bad. Could be quite a lot of fun. Story seems completely uninteresting, but I like the art design. Also colossi. 

looks incredible 
the graphics looks as good as god of war (which looked way better than anything in this in some parts and then OK in other). it looks like GOW in medieval times. 
 shit they had all the same fighting moves, same puzzles, and wtf IT EVEN HAS TITANS
 but they should have taken a hint from gow and left out the balancing beam shit

Still Epic.       Although I will add that I'm not exactly a big fan of the balancing beam crap either. 
All developers everywhere, if you want to leave that out of future games then by all means feel free to do so.

looks boss, the combat reminds me of dantes inferno. It still wont be a match on symphony of the night.

I kinda don't want to watch the whole video for fear of spoilers (silly). But I love the art style, the vibe, it's great. I'm excited for this, damn it feels weird to be excited for a 3d Castlevania game.

Also: awesome Castlevania IV music is awesome.

Looks pretty sweet. Poor choice to have the narration describing every detail of a 3rd person action title as though they were revolutionary.  Cheapened the video and made the whole thing awkward.

This video is really just telling us everything eh? Who at Konami thought that would be a good idea.
