Celebrate Reckoning's Release With A Cyclops

I am just gonna wait for Mass Effect 3 I had my recent fill of high fantasy with Skyrim so I will wait on this one for now.

Hey cyclops, what's the difference between a brown noser and a shit head? Depth perception!

I'm thinking about canceling my Amazon pre-order so I can pick it up right at midnight. I get more excited for this game by the day.

@aquaviva: If the gameplay was good, I'd forgive the fact that the visuals are terrible and derivative. But the gameplay isn't good. The fighting mechanics did absolutely nothing for me, feeling like a sloppy version of DC Universe Online's gameplay (which wasn't all that tight to begin with). I want to give Salvatore the benefit of the doubt with the story, but the story (so far) has been underwhelming. All in all, it feels and looks like an action oriented Fable with less fart jokes.

The story is going to be beautifuly made, r a salvatore wrote it and that mans track record in the realms of books is amazing <3 The Demo is out on xbox (and you can score some ingame loot by playing it, loot can the be found ingame when you buy :-) ) After you get out of the well of souls (the learning lvl) the game writes that a 45min timer has started, thats a good amount of time to try the game out... And it feels great..

and who cares about graphics?? give me solid gameplay, good story and great memorable characters.. Still playing icewind and baldures gate to this day ( oh and beauty is in the eye of the beholder)

I wouldn't take ME: Deception as any indication of the quality of ME3. It's a fucking videogame book, after all. I'm sure it'll be (largely) fine.

For me, it's just a matter of not wanting to rush through Reckoning to get to the next game, especially considering my gaming time isn't exactly plentiful.

The demo was amazingly fun. Felt like a great mix of genres that I really don't feel like trying to describe. As a fan of Fable, The Elder Scrolls, and action games (God of War, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta), this game has some of each, and it's addictive.

Gotta say I love how you have the flexibility to create any kind of character you want without any really noticeable penalties. I haven't finished Skyrim and I don't think I will with this coming out.

I didn't really enjoy the demo too much, but that trailer might have made me want to buy this sometime next week.

I've seen quite a few posts about the graphics (imo they aren't bad, just slighly behind). Supposedly it looks better with post processing on, but it was broken in the demo. And complaints aren't just about the interface. Artstyle, camera, generic story/setting, segregated world areas, too many ques from similar games. Different people have different issues.

Looking forward to playing the shit out of it. Next week can't come soon enough.

I'm not sure why I'm so excited about this game.
First I'd heard of it was listening to the amalur bombcast by chance last week, then I downloaded the demo by chance and ended up loving it!
Not sure if this is me being susceptible to marketing subconsciously, or if it's because I had no idea about it! Either way, I can't wait!

I was already sold on this but if I hadn't been, this trailer would have got me.

I was initially kinda cold on this game from previews and such, but after playing the demo for a couple hours, I actually had a lot of fun with it. Will most likely be picking this up.

Good launch trailer. I'm lovin it. Can't wait to trade in the games I beat recently to get it for free.

I was really looking forward to this game...until I played the demo. Although the combat is kinda fun, the camera was a pain in the ass and nothing in the world seemed interesting to me. Also, IMO this is one ugly game.

Game looks great. Keeping my eye on this one.

This makes me want to pick up a sword and shield and kick some cyclops ass.

I'm not a big fan of the art style or the world, but the gameplay is sick!

I really want to get this game... but I feel it'll go down to €/$20 rather soon, so I'll probably just wait.
