Neat! Might have to have this.

Will they fix the bug where you can beat every level with handcuffs and refrigerator?

Edited by Brendan

Whoop.  I am excited for this to be good, since I didn't end up trying the first one.

Gentlemanly red raptor FTW!!!!
I think I just found my new best friend.

Posted by Lonely_Ogre

This almost makes me want a ds...

Posted by DanielJW

I like that they made a point of D-pad controls.

Posted by GilbertMordinAndSullivan

An option to play it like it's a game? I might try this one!

Posted by DeathbyYeti

hey we heard you hated the controls
have a trailer

Edited by drowsap

thank god dpad support fingers crossed for durggers

Last time I got caught up in the hype and bought the game - and regretted it.  Despite that they have added adjectives and refined controls (both of which are fucking awesome!) I will be waiting for reviews this time around.  I know I should have last time but the charm and novelty of the idea behind Scribblenauts was too much for me to resist.  Hopefully this one will be what the first one should have been.

Could thing they focused on the D-pad support.  YOu know it's the first question EVERYONE is going to ask them about a sequel.  Especially if you've played the first one.  Ugh...

If this game has durgers it will be a definite game of the year nominee ^_^

I <3ed the red raptor part. We need more Dinosaur love in these modern times. I miss not having more Dinosaur themed movies/games/TV shows.

Come on, Brad Nicholson. This ain't Kotaku or Destructoid or whatever. Editorializing in headlines is all the way tacky.

Posted by BeachThunder

Uh, this looks as [adjective] as the first one.

Edited by Turambar

Oh wow, they really did call it Super Scribblenauts.  I still remember that joke on the Bombcast.

Looks fun

It looks fantastic.  Let's see how it plays.

exactly this. i feel like i got burned a little last time. and while this game looks to fix some issues, i will definitely be waiting to hear how it turns out. gentlemanly? something about this seems off.

Refined Controls, that's really all that was necessary.

Posted by igloochan

I like the name.  Just Scribblenauts modified by an adjective.  What a clever way of introducing what's new in the game.  Also harkens back to the snes days when all sequels were super versions of older games.

I like adjectives.

Here's an adjective for Scribblenauts: broken.

(I think he was just using adjectives to fit in with the theme of the video)

Well.. and better level design, less crude graphics, objects that actually resemble what they're intended to resemble, objects that actually act they way they should act, objects that interact with other objects in a consistent manner, fewer glitches.

I guess basically less focus on quantity and more focus on quality, which seems like the exact opposite of what they're doing...

I didn't get the first one because of the complaints about the controls and was waiting for them to mention it and remedy the situation and now that they did. I want this. I want this badly.

Posted by Shasam

The Gentlemanly Raptor made me laugh. From the looks of this trailer they have nailed it. Controls seem to be "fixed", the levels are larger (which was a personal pet peeve of mine) and WAY MORE STUFF!

Excellent.

Posted by steelknight2000

Oh, for the Super Nintendo. Great, I can dust it off now.

Posted by Kohryu

Looks awesome, can't wait!

Posted by JackSukeru

Still not convinced that it wont be just as broken as the first one, but the first one was really fun to play around with so it's likely that I'll get this too.
Posted by ImperiousRix

They had me at Gentlemanly Red Raptor.

Posted by StarFoxA

If they fix the controls, I might give it a look. Might. Probably not.

Posted by yinstarrunner

Throughout the entire trailer, I kept thinking one thing: "They better fix the controls".
And then the "Refined Controls" thing popped up and I was all :D

Posted by Swaboo

At least they should know enough what was busted about the first game to make this one better...

Posted by LordAndrew

Refined controls, bitches!

Posted by Mercanis

Perhaps this game will deliver on the promises of the original.

Posted by eloj

Compared to something like LBP2 this doesn't seem "as improved". Honestly, I haven't even unwrapped my copy :-\

Posted by MajorToms

Oh shit, Gentlemanly Red Raptor. At least it was wearing a stove top hat and a monocle lol. Gonna be cool this time I hope. Those levels seem a bit longer than the original.

Posted by Mono_Listo

Wow, I'm going to buy a DS just for this game. No kidding.

Posted by LiamExe

Nice, looks like they've listened to all the comments about the last game and are attempting to improve it. :O Looking forward to it, the adjective thing looks crazy. Gentlemanly Raptor ftw.

Posted by skrutop

I stayed away from the first one after everyone slammed the controls.  I'm very interested in this.

Posted by RTSlord

im loving the background music, this game makes me wish i had a ds
Posted by BaconAndWaffles

The improvements sound awesome, my interest is renewed.

Posted by Make_Me_Mad

Adjectives have changed... everything!  For the better.  Can't wait for this one.

Posted by MisterMouse

haha looks pretty cool.

Posted by Eisen

Looks great, but i'll wait for reviews to see how it ends up.

Posted by BigChief

Intrigued, but will wait to hear how this one turns out.
