Wow, it's weird how most of the people on this site think Cliff B is awesome while the boards over at GameTrailers are on fire with people expressing their hate for Cliffy. "A total douchebag" is the most common description of him there I think.

What gives? He seems like a cool guy to me.

I gained a lot of respect for Cliff there around the 8minute mark when he talked about how he is his own person.  Seriously we see that too much in gaming interviews where the developers are so scarred to mention something they aren't supposed to it just makes everything a whole lot less fun.  That is why it is interesting to watch interviews with developers like Cliff, because they actually love their work and they want to talk about it, it isn't a job to them it is their life.  Plus Cliff seems like one of the more real people I see in gaming, everybody else seems like they've never been out of their basement.

Please explain just how you considered Cliff gay in that interview you dolt gouveia?  In fact,  name for me one lead developer that you like so we may all witness who you consider to be great at what they do?  Cliff is EXTREMELY talented at what he does and it's idiots like you that twist his comments and talk negatively about someone who's successful simply because your pissed off at how your life has turned out.

In interviews like this, Cliff seems like a cool, humble guy.   It's those "other sites" like  1up that suck up and make Cliff look like a conceited jerk.   Jeff does great interviews, and I think the two respect each others work.  Good job.

GameTrailers forums is totally filled with PS3 only owning TROLLS.
They hate anything that is not PS3 exclusive- and really hate anything that is on 360, especially anything that is better and more popular than anything on PS3. In every forum within 6 posts you get  a "HALO sucks comment" - even when it has nothing to do with the thread ( Even in posts where people are asking advice with a PC or girlfriend problem).
So back on topic- so these trolls totally hate GEARS and especially CLIF. B. as he is the face of GEARS.

I don't understand why all the hate. He seems to be a nice guy, at least he's honest and is not afraid to speak his mind...and most of all makes some damn good games. Much respect to Cliff. Great interview Jeff.

I dont really give a poop about the artist formerly known as Cliffy B. But theire team did a great job on Gears 2, it was an awesome game, and the improvements they did are very welcome in my book.

However the question about the power left in the 360 and Unreal Engine, i dont think we have seen limits yet to the hardware (be it 360, ps3 or wii) , but on the other hand, they need to make a new engine or improve it vastly, cause its starting to show it age, despite Gears 2 looking very nice, it also has some bad textures here and there, and the texture poppin is still there.
