I played the demo, it seemed alright, was considering picking this up.

But now, dude....FUCK this game.

She is just horrifying. I suppose the next member dropping the so called "lyrical heat" is her husband, because he was just so great in Gears 3.

Any credablity this game had just went up in smoke.

You realize. That it's not just movies and music where "sex sells" it's everywhere and a key marketing strategy. Most people here do not think it works. But if you see the numbers it does. Most of society is so used to the marketing strategy they will buy it. In addition, girls with low self esteem will as well to prove guys wrong. The "target" audience for this game is males between 16-35 who play third person shooters. Which if you haven't seen the COD numbers, that's ALOT of their audience. I don't particularly agree with these standards. However, their is a reason each COD game surpasses the next, and why each shooter franchise wants to be the next cashcow. Though, sadly Tom Clancy has fallen wayy to far from the tree.

I'm sorry but please tell me in what way that was sexy? That's the kind of woman you find pissed out her face, puking up in some alley way on a Saturday night with mascara running down her face. This has nothing to do with the game, this is supposed to be a tactical 3rd person shooter where you have to use your brain to win. It's an insult to the fans of Tom Clancy games, it's an insult on how gamers are viewed today and it's an insult to the devs who created this game.

"Sex sells" when used in the right context. This trailer makes me feel sick and puts the game in a terrible light. I enjoyed the beta and the players I heard of the mic, couldn't be further from whatever horny pathetic teenager Ubisoft has depicted everyone who plays this game to be. The PR team should be fired for this, they don't have a fucking clue. If I put 2-3 years of my life in to making this game and saw the publisher PR team deface my game like this, I would be over there kicking the living shit out of them.

This "target" audience of 16-35 year old males who like this, does not exist, it's made up BS. I refuse to believe this trailer helped to sell this game at all, in fact it probably reduced sales.

I'm not going to reply with some huge long response. Simply put some people find this woman attractive, some don't. If this is what Ubisoft wants to do. Not much you can about it. Complaining on the internet doesn't do much, if anything. Just yelling at the sky when it rains. Just like tobacco markets to kids and gets away with it. Sales for the game will tell. And plus HUGE multimillion dollar marketing behind this game. Hard to tell if one trailer will decrease over all sales. When you're shooting for a million, losing one or two thousand, in their heads, doesn't mean much. It's a loss, but a loss of a hundred thousand means more. We shall see in time, X19. We shall see.

"When you're shoodeen." What the fuck was the marketing team thinking? I've got nothing against trannys but when a woman dresses like one and then tries to sell me a the next Tom Clancy game I start to question Ubi's creative direction. 

Are they really this brazen about how shallow the game is? Such an insult to a series with such tactical and serious roots.

This wasn't as bad and stage-y as I thought it might be, but, it's still weird. This is weird. It's fine. It's totally weird. It's fine. I'm fine. It's fine. Okay.

If I was going to produce a parody of a commercial for a video game where you shoot dudes military style, this is pretty much what would have gotten made.
