Company of Heroes 2 Brings the Fight to Russia

Dear god we are mere moments away from the Americans suddenly realizing that A) They didn't fight in WW2 alone, and B) They didn't win it.

I am in the same boat as you, though I am in the process of downloading it as I type. Relic games are usually awesome.

As a recent convert to all things Relic, I am excited for Company of Heroes 2!

I still play the first Company of Heroes a ton...I am definitely looking forward to number 2.

this & XCOM both look like fun strategy games.

Man, that Trailer-guy had a sick voice. He was channeling the spirit of Don LaFontaine harder than any impressionist I've heard.

As a collector of Soviet military/civilian awards and a Soviet history enthusiast I am very excited for this. Finally a game by a good developer telling the story from the eastern front. Can't wait!

It will be interesting to see how the campaign is framed. Indeed many millions of Russians gave their life to end history's most odious and awful regime, it's just a tragic shame that by doing so they ensured the continued existence of history's second most odious and awful regime.
 
Still. VIDEO GAMES. If the story if kept upon the men who fought and perhaps on the civilians who suffered that will be enough. War and Remembrance did much the same and did not suffer for it.
