DC Universe Online Lets You Decide

i'll stick to WoW

Meh, looks like another bad MMO to me, hey look you can climb building and this fighting scene doesn't make any sense and look batman stomps and bats come out, you decide if you want to be good or bad (that is so new). I hope they at least have pedestrians or something cause 10 people in a city that's empty seems pretty boring, I wouldn't complain if they would say coming in 2011 cause that would mean that the game is still in development, but this is 3 months away so now it's just polishing, but maybe I'm wrong and this is the best mmo that was ever created.

That game does not look fun or exciting. I think it might be time to stop with the superhero MMOs despite how much I would like to see a really good one.

Now a days I try to avoid SOE MMO's.

I love how you complain about consoles getting MMO's, and the devs having to water them down, then mention having to get your computer fixed to play one. Are consoles perfect? No. Are the developers dumbing down this game for us console "kids"? We'll have to wait and see. But, I won't have to upgrade my PS3 to play this. Though I'll probably just be playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 instead. That game is going to rock. You should pick it up for your compu.....oh, wait.     "

Looks okay, but I'm "gun shy" when it comes to superhero MMOs after the disappointing Champions Online. While watching the trailer, I realized that one of the biggest problems with superhero MMO's is that most of the action doesn't look as dynamic as it would in a comic book, cartoon or movie.  I know the reason why, but perhaps if it at least felt as fluid as something like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta then being a character in these world might feel more heroic.  But, looking at the trailer I see a bunch of heroes and villains standing in a parking lot wailing on each other like they're fighting over a parking space.  That doesn't excite me to become involve in this universe.

It reminds me too much of Champions Online and how they sacrificed so much of the game play under the idea of releasing it for the console kids- even though Champions never did come out on the 360 because of Microsoft it was designed for the lowest common form and the PC version suffered from it. The costumes look great, but I'm not going to buy a game just for the costume creator. We will see though. When hell freezes over and I can afford to fix my PC I will give this game a look at. 
 
I love me some Super Heroes too much to pass up a new MMO based around them. After 5+ years of City of Heroes I'm looking to see if someone can finally make a better MMO. "

I am thoroughly excited for this game. Makes me want to junk this laptop and buy a new pc.

Game looks kinda herky-jerky...also kinda looks like CoH. Not like a CoH upgrade, it literally looks like CoH.

It's too bad DC sucks. If it was Marvel... maybe it'd mattter.

The custom made characters look just like the CoH ones.

If it hasn't been taken yet I'm rolling my main as The Super Poo. Jesus will be my alt. 
 
I actually really liked CoX but when I got to about lvl 45 on my illu/rad controller I was solo'ing missions on the highest difficulty. Cryptic's approach to mmo's wasn't great at keeping my attention so I hope there will be more interaction between player and the world and at least mask the repetition.

The one thing I'm looking forward to here is another run of videos like "The Matrix Online: Not like this"

I always get stoked for every new MMO then burnt out when it fails to deliver. This also usually means I end up getting depressed and renewing my WoW subscription. 
 
I hope this game is good, but I won't be surprised when it isn't.

No 360 version? Hmm.

Horrible trailer. All the narration focused on "I" can choose to save the world, or "I" can destroy it. "I" "I" "I".
 
So they are trying to attract self centered, ego centric, soloers to a MMORPG. Epic fail INC just like the Matrix Online was.
