Harley and Grundy ARE cool. I mean Harley is probably the most famous villainess right now given Catwoman's conflicted status on that front. And Grundy? He was born on a Monday, and we know how much the Bombcrew love their Mondays.

Hey, you've gotta fill all the character archetypes somehow. Personally I think Grundy makes a great Zangief.

If there is a story mode that is as good as MK9 with this game, then count me in!

I hope the story mode is just Batman systematically defeating everyone else. Because that's what Batman does.

Why are people hung up on the Batman / Solomon Grundy kick scenario? What's the alternative? Nerf Batman so he's weaker than the other characters? It's a fighting game, gotta balance the characters out. Imagine a Mortal Kombat where only some characters can knock others into the stage fatalities...weak sauce. It looks like it will be fun to do super hero shit!

Batman is the only one that really wins.

I can imagine seeing Superman and Batman beating the crap out of each other in this game, so I'm on board.

Seriously, that was an awesome trailer.

Pretty excited to see an all DC-character fighter. Looks very awesome.

I really don't care much about comic characters, but I'll keep an open mind about this knowing that Netherrealm is developing it.

The only thing I have problems with is Batman kicking Solomon Grundy through a building. I hope that gets cut by released, because nothing I can think of makes that make sense. Besides, you know, Superman wearing the batsuit. (Or maybe Connor Kent wearing the batsuit? He's alive again, right?)

Other than that, it looks hilariously over the top in the right ways for everyone else. Apprehensively excited.

Why are they doing this? Don't they know how uncoordinated it will be to hit someone past the atmosphere and slam them back to the ground only to NOT KILL THEM AT THE END OF THE FIGHT? They should just stop this and start working on the aerial kombos and interactive stages of MKII(MK10) or reintroduce Killer Instinct.

I'm not sold, but I'm happy to keep an open mind about it. I'm a big DC fan, and the MK9 was pretty awesome. Here's hoping!

Is it just me, or does it sound like Tim Daly's voice when Supes does the ole atmosphere punch to Flash? Cause that would be rad.

Nice pulls there @Alex. I honestly love the extra silly characters that have shown up in the various books. Now I just want to see someone do an Arm-Fall-Off Boy cos-play at SDCC.

Too bad I don't like fighting games.

Superman design looks eradicator-ish. Batman looks like the movies. Good calls.

Not sold on the Flash armor. Looks...not aerodynamic. And wonder woman's design looks lazy.

I think that was only because of Superman's eye beams hitting him

After MK9 this is exactly the kind of game I was hoping Netherrealm would make next.
