Gotta say the visuals have taken a dramatic bump in quality each time they show it.

looks cool. Hopefully there'll be way more enemy types in this game. First one was awesome but I got tired of the enemies after a while

What I liked about Dead Space was the feeling of isolation, the thought that if you got into trouble nobody would be able to reach you for weeks or months. I just hope they lay off the weird FEAR-type psychological stuff, and make a sequel that isn't like the second half of Event Horizon.

i am so hyped for this. ive been trying to avoid any gameplay footage but it just looks so damn good! also this reminds me of that bit in XMen Origins Wolverine

Ah man I hate these type of sequences. They were the worst part of God of War 3.

 But why the hell would you design something like that??!! It seems like the most dangerous solution to move from one place to another in space.   
 
 Why do I feel like I don't want this game anymore I wonder. There's nothing wrong with it, yet I feel like they are taking it to a direction I don't want to go.
  
Also God of War 3.

For all my complaints about Visceral Games, I do so love Dead Space's zero gravity vacuum bits. Not alot of games portray space as quiet these days.

the number 2 in the logo seems oddly placed and small.

Who would ever invent this!?! A rocket powered backpack that you use to jettison yourself through space. This game seemed at least practical before but dude why would a mining colony ever need this!?!

I like where this is going.

Why do I feel like Visceral has lost all sense of craft and is now out to make 14 year olds get hype?  Dead Space wasn't awesome because Isaac was a memetic badass.  It was awesome because the ship was a spacefaring death hazard and Isaac was a competent, but regular, guy.  The end boss of Dead Space was killed while you were being held by your foot, about to be eaten.  It feels like the boss of Dead Space 2 will be a Kratos-style experience of yanking eyes out with pure strength.
