and why did it take so long for any sort of music game to have Mr. Roboto?

The presence of Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto made my interest in this game jump by about 1000%.

I still can't believe they made a game named "BAND Hero".

Guitar Hero, Rock Band, more Guitar Hero.. more Rock Band.. now DJ Hero and Band Hero? Christ, I wish marketing didn't exist sometimes...

Yeah... After playing DJ Hero any kind of guitar hero / rock band thing looks... Old and boring.

 I guess now there is one song I like in this game .

I plan on renting this, playing Mr. Roboto, and then promptly returning it.

note; That is the second time I've used that joke in two days, hopefully activision keeps putting out mediocre promotional videos and I can keep my streak alive.

If Rock Band 2 hadn't released most of this game's content already via DLC, I'd probably look into it.

Fallout Boy, All-American Rejects, Joan Jett song from RB2, ugh. Plus they completely shit on GH5 and RB: Beatles by calling it the biggest music event of the year.

Setlist doesn't look very promising, but most of all I don't really want to play another rhythm game right now.

Now that I think about it, that's the stupidest name they could ever come up with. Did you REALLY need to put the "HERO" in there!
 
Even Rock Hero would've been a better name.

Now I have a reason to buy this game.

It pains me to say it, but I like Band Hero's setlist more than Lego RB's. Yes, it's a poorly veiled money-grab, and a lot of the stuff I want on there is prepackaged pop-rock, but I...still want it.
 
Still won't buy it at launch though.

If it were the Polysics version of Domo Arigato I would definitely be more interested.

Yes but there's still Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy in the game so that immediately cancels out the awesomeness of this song also being in the game.

Still don't understand what Activision's plan is with this and the GH franchise but hey, if this is good enough I may eventually pick it up.

Wow Activision go eat a dick, your lucky the only game that grabs my attentions is Modern Warfare.

I don't know what Activision is trying to accomplish with "Band Hero" other than putting another Guitar Hero on the market.

Anyone else find the name "Band Hero" to be amazingly dumb?

I don't have a problem with Band Hero if they get out some decent songs. I don't understand what its trying to bring new to the table, but I won't have a problem.

Like other "Hero" games, a few songs I'd like to play don't warrant a purchase for the 40+ songs I don't.  Like the others, I'll wait and pick it up a year later for $10, if those songs don't get rolled into RB that is.
 
I think it's about time for piano or brass to get a game, maybe something like a functional Wii Music that actually sounds good.
