Dragon Age: Inquisition Gets Release Date, New Trailer

I really hope this is good, I loved the first Dragon Age, I like most had a hard time getting into the second one.

The female character's accent in this trailer...what is it supposed to be? It sounds awful and forced, like a bad Hollywood movie...Like that Hercules movie that came out at the beginning of the year...why give the American actor a horrible English accent? Pretty sure Hercules was not British.

Did not realize how much I want a real sequel to Dragon Age Origins. Please don't disappoint. I didn't hate Dragon Age 2 but I certainly don't want another one. Just going to cross my fingers and wait to see what they show gameplay wise at E3

@xplusy: Bioware is making a tool to create personal histories. You won't be able to do a direct save import, it sounds like.

@hailinel: I actually prefer this over save imports. It's less likely to be all glitchy, and my saves for the original 2 are scattered across multiple platforms and I really do not want to play through them again.

They have already shown extensive gameplay demos and its pretty safe to say that it builds upon Dragon Age 2. Its a full on action game from the look of it. Which is a real shame as I immensely enjoyed the gameplay of Origins on PC.

Really high hopes for this, and its awesome to see Varric showing up. He is by far the best character in the series.

I enjoyed Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2(despite its flaws), so I'm really looking forward to this game. It will also probably be the first retail disc I buy for my PS4.

This looks really cool! What was missing from the second one was this constant impending threat that made the game feel like an epic. Also what appears to be a main character with a more interesting background and one whose story you will have more control over.

That helmet on the main character looks so dumb.

So, is this supposed to be more of an open world game in the vein of Skyrim? I've enjoyed the first 2 Dragon Age games, but even at their best there was not much in the way of real exploration.

So, this is a full on action RPG now? Or will there be turn-based pausing? What's the term for that mix?

Frostbite seems to be treating it well. Like a lot of people, I really enjoyed the first game but never got into the second one. Hope this one brings me back.

I am totally going to get this game and half expect disappointment.

Honestly not sure how to feel about this. Looks gorgeous, though! And I actually thought the characters and "look" of DAII were better than Origins, even if the game itself wasn't.

Such a shame :( It will probably be enjoyable if they don't re-use the same space all the time as in DA 2, but DA Origins is one of my favourite games. Recently started re-playing it.

Looks pretty, but DA2 was so shitty, and all of Bioware's recent games have been disappointing as hell, so I won't get this unless everyone raves about how amazing it is.

The brief glimpses of gameplay look like it's headed in a more action-oriented direction. Fuck you, Bioware.

Was Dragon Age 2 that bad? I need to play it still. Besides being more "actiony", was the story decent?

People are pissy and hyperbolic on the internet. It was alright and the combat was way more tactical if you compare console versions of origine vs DA2.

I am optimistic!

Finally some good news with this generation I have been waiting to get my hands on a new RPG. If I had to hear about another call of duty and Assassins creed I am have had to kill my self lol.
