Never got into this seris. After playing the 2nd one at the start of the ps2 days, i got bored of just mashing out troops left and right.  
 
I'm sure theres been some inovations and plenty of improvements since then but this trailer just doesn't sell it to me...   "switch between 2 weapons, on the go"!

man Dynasty Warriors looks cool but its fans are apparently elitish douches.. Every fighting game can to a degree be boiled down to spam. I just spam all the buttons in god of war. Doesn't detract from the fun for me..

I will assume it's already been said.

This game looks just as shitty as all the other Dynasty Warriors games. I will never understand why people continue to waste money on this crap.

Dynasty Warriors are hands down my favorite franchise. 
I get that it's not very popular with many people as they think it's monotonous, but I have great fun with them.

There are about 18 warring states in the book that you never read, and the game you never played is only very loosely based on that book you never read.  "

You  know, I actually like this series...but the setting is getting kinda old. I'd like to see some different nations involved, other than Japan and China. Maybe add Mongols to the mix? Bladestorm wasn't really the same, but the Hundred Year's War was a good setting for this type of game. Or Native American tribe battles?

Tried that Trinity game demo. That was painful. It's like they combined Dynasty Warriors and a text based RPG into one game. Ugg.

This looks like an uprezzed Dreamcast game, with gameplay that belongs in the early 2000s for people with the need to commit virtual genocide

Much like the previous 20 different installments of the overarching Warriors franchise (including Orochi and Samurai), I'll end up playing this and loving the shit out of it. 
 
I'm just hoping that they fix Wei Yan.  His presentation in Dynasty Warriors 6 kind of pissed me off.  I mean, how the fuck you gonna take away the double pole blade?!?!  Hopefully, they fix him back to the way he was before.

I've always wanted to like this series, I just never have. Probably never will... probably!
