"Controls are fixed."  If they knew the controls were broken in the beginning, why did they release the game in the way it did.

I would like to know: If I typed in "Lincoln Force" in the game, will I get a brain in a Jar?

A lot of it was that they had no idea the response they were going to get. When they showed it at E3 last year it exploded in popularity, when in reality they were really marketing it to a more casual user. As they were literally at the end of their dev cycle they had to make some cuts...including fixing the controls, among other bugs.

Oh my..... sometimes the ppl who makes games, THINK that its all ok, and after it gets out, the find 2 hings: 1, they where right. 2, guess.....they where wrong. And as the control thingy became sutch a huge issue, ofc they went back and had a look at it.

I swear....sometimes ppl really dont use theire brain.

@JCGamer:  They didn't completely know the controls were borked in the first game. The reviews were just very condescending on them and said it held the game back from what was so cool about it. Now they're making 'em better, and I think it's great!

I'm so excited for this game! I might actually be able to finish it now.

The Giant Bomb crew is absolutely killing it with all the interviews!!! Kudos guys

Here is how I think it works. The adjectives are a set items that will be attached to the "noun". So gentlemanly just attaches a top hat and monocle to whatever the base word is. It would be nice to see though.

Will the incomprehensible grizzly bear finally be comprehended?

I always thought it was pronounced SLACKZA. :(

"Super Scribblenauts 3 Turbo Lincoln Force HD" confirmed.

Too bad the Bearodactyl wasn't confirmed as an item.

Yea, but having a control scheme where the game was either unplayable, or unenjoyable does not give me hope that these dudes know what they are doing in the gameplay arena.  Hope the game turns out well though.

This is necessary information.  Find it out, Giant Bomb.

Irresistible bear trap was hilarious.
I wish this was on line somehow. Would be awesome with something like Banjo Kazooie where you can see how other people figured out the levels.

There's probably something else going on too, like behaviour patterns, a "Gentlemanly" T-rex would probably never be hostile towards you..I'm just guessing though. Things like "Giant something-something" is pretty self explanatory, you take the normal sprite and make it a lot bigger.

Why would you want your Bullet Gun to explode? :P

Now that you mention it though, one of the annoying things about the first scribblenauts was that the weapons had very limited ammo. Time to take a page out of Deadly Premonition and get yourself a "Infinite Ammo Machinegun".

So yeah I'll probably buy this game too. Actually I'm thinking about going back too the first one and playing around right now.

Great interview. Much more interested in the sequel than the first game.

I had hopes for the first but was a bit disappointed, but this one seems 775 million times better so maybe I'll give it another chance. <>

The important question is will we get a second chance at a rooster hat if we pre-order?

Posted by YukoAsho

Of course, you gotta type in something like Insane Lincoln Force, see if you get a bunch of crazy Abes running around.

Posted by PHEDIA

Scribblenauts 3D, exclusive on the 3DS. OMG, 5th Cell call me now.

Posted by ShowNun

inquisitively is an adverb!

Posted by bigall94

You're all wrong. The first thing to type into Super Scribblenauts is obviously going to be.........FUNKY STUDENT. Mind blown.

Posted by anarchcorp

Dude...Super Massive Hole.

You get a huge black hole and you make a reference to Muse.

That guy needs to learn how to enunciate.

I hope durgers are in Super Scribblenauts. I want to solve puzzles with gentlemanly durgers.

Posted by Crono

I hope that they also add some new art to a lot of the nouns that repeat the same graphic!

Controls are fixed? okay interview is done.

Posted by mjhhiv

This guy is really freaking awesome. I'm actually way more interested in this now that I've seen this guy.

try Evil Confederate Brain in a Jar Assassin.
Posted by Addfwyn

I was massively disappointed with the first game, but it looks like they really shaped up with this one, so I'll probably give it a shot.

Posted by marhom

this sounds amazing; to be fair, though, so did the first one.

Posted by Seraphim

I still don't see how this will fix what was broken about the first game; I mean adjectives and more words are cool, but the problem with the first one wasn't that it didn't have enough words

You should try watching the interview then, as they bring up other things that will be adressed for the sequel within the first few seconds, and a few more things as it goes along.
