Looks awesome, definitley getting this.

Ezio, die already.

Posted by TrustyPelletGun

Awesome cinematic, but not a lot of information about any "revelations" though.

Posted by PieGuy

This is turning into a call of duty with it being released each year.
I haven't bought brotherhood but seeming as this is yet another Ezio game I've lost interest in the series.

Posted by fillmoejoe

Sorry for the delay I just fucked some shit up.

Edited by superpow

Really... another Assassin's Creed... And with Ezio... This means this is the end of the Ezio Trilogy I suppose.

EDIT: WTF FLAMETHROWERS?

Finally we can move on.. oh wait.

uh uh uh uh uh!

I don't mind annual series as long as they're good. Brotherhood was not only best in the series, but a serious contender for GOTY. This looks great, can't wait to play it.

@PieGuy

Yeah but AC has been better quality than Call of Doody

Brotherhood was fantastic, with an MP component that was truly unique. If they keep it going with Revelations and maintain the standard set.....they why shouldn't there be a game each year? You only worry when the quality of the franchise goes down. but if they manage to keep it fresh....more power to them

Gameplay in Brotherhood is improved from II, and if your concern is story stagnation, they've done a great job keeping my interest so far. I'd recommend not giving up on it.

will definitely get this. and while I like Ezio, it is good that this will be his last game.

Posted by LordCmdrStryker

I like Ezio and all but this is already the fourth game in the series. Are we ever gonna beat the Templars? Get on with it, Ubisoft.

this cud be good! love the bad ass beard

Posted by sensory

I hope they do a better job on this than they did on Brotherhood. The story in Brotherhood was very.. meh.

I have to tell you as a gamer who is maturing in age I'm really enjoying seeing more instances of protagonists who are also older.

Posted by Chris2KLee

Burned through the first 3 games over the last month, looking forward to this one.

hope you can customize your beard

Posted by Wuddel

Oh what the heck, I might as well get this one as well.

Posted by Snipzor

I approve of aging beard man.

Posted by TheMathlete

looks pretty good to me, but I haven't played much of any Assassin's Creed game.

Posted by Mordebir

Ezio is going to discover America! Awesome!

Posted by haggis

That was by far the best set-piece in the series that I've seen so far, and it bodes well for the game. Ubi's been putting these games out every year now, and contrary to expectations they've actually gotten better and better. And I'm one of those who couldn't stand the first game in the series. If you'd have told me after the first game's release that I'd be eagerly awaiting the fourth in the series, I'd have told you you were crazy. But it's true: I really want to play this game. I'm skeptical about the story coming together in any meaningful way, but the gameplay is great, and I like Ezio as a character. Definitely on my list of Day-1 pickups.

That. BEARD.

Posted by Terjay

Ezio sounds  way too young in this.

Posted by lclay

Hmm didn't see enough combat to know for certain but have they removed chaining executions? That made the combat so much more fun in brotherhood

Assassin's Creed isn't changing scenery and giving you the same gameplay. I think they're doing a good job of creating a bunch of new gameplay elements and constantly fixing what was wrong with their old games.  AC2 was a massive improvement over AC2 and while Brotherhood didn't change a whole lot, the multilayer mode was a fantastic edition. I recommended you pick up Brotherhood, it may change your mind.

Its really annoying how people that haven't played Brotherhood assume that it's terrible because of how soon it was released.

Thought i was the only one that thought that but that was the only downer for me. Expected  a similar voice with a older more rugged tone to it.

Now that was badass.

Freaking amazing!

In just 3 years they've built new Hero and now we've got  Old Ezio. Same as Old Snake..

Posted by KennyBhoy

I can't wait! Old Ezio makes me sad though as i feel a farewell coming on!

Posted by SkinnyBlue

Haven't even played Brotherhood yet, but I want to even more now after seeing this. I've got some catching up to do.

Posted by Teboda

@SkinnyBlue: Brotherhood was awesome, I was surprised at how much content was in it and how they managed to improve upon AC2 which was already a superb game. ACR looks amazing, definitely a pre-order.

Well the dude is in about his fifties and he sounds the same when he was in his twenties. Hopefully they do something to it.

Probably my fault for not being Italian but what the fuck flamethrowers and they can be shot crazzzzy distances? Loved that the bombs only caused commotion with the citizens and not the guards just a little bit farther away.  And yeah Ezio sounds a bit young for being a 50 something guy who should be all rugged.

You win again sir.

Have I commented here yet? No? Alright.

His voice needs some grit. It doesn't even close to match.

Also, I'm so glad I get to play as Ezio again. I definitely was hoping ACII would turn into its own "trilogy" within the AC trilogy (that was supposed to exist, right?). I mean, it's not like I want to be fucking done with backstory and actually get to play as Desmond or anything. Maybe if this were billed as a holdover until AC3 to get either money or time I wouldn't be so nonplussed, but they're billing this as another AAA AC game. ACII was alright, but I was done with Ezio halfway through (and I haven't even finished it).

Seriously. Give me either Desmond or some more Altair to hold me over. But please, stop with the Ezio. Ezio's face stabbing got boring ages ago.

That flamethrower is made out of wood how did it not catch on fire?

It's crazy how we've literally gone through the whole of Ezio's life.

they had flamethrowers back then they were a marvel of old technology and could launch flames up to 200 feet! /themoreyouknow
Posted by fillmoejoe

Yeah, I agree Ezio still sounds the same. Michael Ironside it up.

Posted by dcgc

Cannot wait to play this.

Edited by cstrang

I'm in. We were there for the birth of Ezio Auditore; 3 years later, will we be there for his death?

Posted by Branthog

I was interested in Assassin's Creed after the second one, when it was supposed to be a trilogy. Now that the second one is it's own trilogy, I've kind of lost interest. I just don't care that fucking much about Ezio.

Posted by Dustpan

The hell have they done to Ezio's face? He literally looks like a sasquatch.
