Hopefully this game will be just as good as Odin Sphere. The style is just as unique and beautiful as Vanillaware's previous games.

This game looks top to bottom like an update on D&D Tower of Doom (or Shadow of Mystara, for younger arcade rats).  I just wish they'd shown us some inventory management, loot, or hidden passages to confirm it.
 
If so - stoked.  If it's just a fighter, not as much.

For people who claim that you don't like giant boobs you seem to not be able to pay attention to anything but that when a Japanese game has them among other things such actual good gameplay. Get your priorities straight, would you actually skip on a good game just because of some tits? 

One women has an oversized ass while another has oversized breasts. I'll stick with the normal archer girl.

Still, the graphical style looks awesome.

The character designs are ridiculous enough to be acceptable. It's when they're in the "too big for a normal person, but not humorously big" that you run into problems.

People fucking love this visual style, but I mostly see choppy animation and a mess of huge characters.

I think I went blind when I saw the screen cap of the amazon. I'm pretty sure it's at least part man.

I'm sorry, Japan, but... breasts don't work like that.

The character design overall is great.  The fighter's outrageous armor is something they clearly had fun with, the Amazon isn't so crazy when you think about the dudebros in Gears, and the rest are gaming stereotypes, no big deal.
 
The torches they're carrying, the drawbridges, all sorts of other little cues make me think of the D&D arcade games.   After googling a bit, it seems Vanillaware's George Kamitani directed those games for Capcom, so it makes sense.
 
Anyway, nice to finally have a game I care about on either new portable, thanks for covering it.

I gotta say, looks great!  Kind of like Golden Axe for a new age.  I ain't got a PS3 though (monetary constraints).  Maybe they'll do a 360 version?
 
Have you noticed that Japanese developers are really getting into those big meaty asses?

The female characters freak me out. Other than that, it looks like a serviceable sidescrolling brawler.

I'm reminded why I liked Odin Sphere, but I'm not completely sold on the co-op. I liked the involved single-player experience, as repetitive as some would say it was.
