It showed big Xbox Live and PSN logos at the end of that trailer.  Do offline games usually show that, or does this mean that it might have online co-op?

Based on this video and another one I saw awhile ago, I'm gonna say Demon's Souls-like gameplay with Monster Hunter-like coop. Could be amazing, but it will probably just be okay.

Has anyone mentioned how stupid Dragon's DOGMA sounds yet?

Seems cool, like a Demon's Souls / Shadow of the Collosus hybrid.

There's something strange about seeing these European-inspired dragons coming from a Japanese game. Is that racist?

I hope this game isn't ruined by Japan-isms... Ugly text, hideous menus, terrible controls... Because, hot damn, it looks freakin awesome. I want it to as great as it looks!

I understand that the japanese have yet to implement a working method of teaching a second language in schools short of university, but.. This is stretching it.. It really is.

I think they're trying to make a game that will be a hit in North America. Monster Hunter is not that game.

The bond with the dragon kind of reminds me of Cavia's Drakengard, but nobody's got a patent on dragon-riding.  I'm really pumped about this Western-styled action RPG, I gotta say.  Maybe it'll fill the hole left by my heart, which Robot Chicken-necked Oblivion so cruelly tore from my breast.

There's nothing weird about it. Japanese games have had western dragons in them for decades.

Looks a little janky in some spots (and perhaps a bit too much like Monster Hunter) but I'm definitely interested. Skeptical, but interested.

As soon as it looks exciting, I'm reminded of how boring it sounds.. just listen

to the trailer, it's really boring! I suppose trailers aren't meant for pure listening,

but a more inspired sound design makes for a better trailer.. right?

Oh man, that voice-over.  Wonder who thought it would be an awesome idea to insert a post-Don LaFontaine action movie announcer into this trailer?

I wish they would/could take more chances with bringing weird ass japanese titles over instead of trying to take a more 'western' approach to these kinds of games.

I think they thought they were being clever with the DD name. They probably wanted something that reduced down to D&D. Give the monster in the game they could have called it Chimera Credo or Manticores Method, but C&C and M&M doesn't speak to the concept of rpgs as well.
