What a strange gaming world we live in when Dead Space 3 looks more like Lost Planet, and Lost Planet 3 looks more like Dead Space.

Watchin' livestreams methinks

I'm a fan of the series and this one seems to be an improvement on all counts.

The first pat of that trailer was really well made and acted. The gameplay parts looked good too. Definitely gives off a Dead Space vibe like others have said.

Posted by tourgen

has a late 70s early 80s sci-fi horror vibe to it.  hopefully they maintain that in the game and it's just not the trailer.  I might try this one out.

looks so good hopefully it plays well.

Holy shit, didn't know mods could post videos.

Is it just me, or does the voice acting sound amazing in this trailer? Hope the whole game is as well voiced.

Kind of cool to see a protagonist with a beard and wavy brown hair.

We know him simply as: Space Jesus.

Were people really asking for another Lost Planet game?

Posted by ScreamingGhost

Damn, that looks pretty sweet.

Wow, looks really cool. Hope this one turns out well, it'd be nice for Lost Planet to be good again.

The trailers for this have so far looked really good. If they can live up to them, then Spark Unlimited might redeem themselves. If.

Its because he almost has the Kurt Russel beard. Its really is that close to The Thing. Beards, ice, and aliens trying to eat you,

yes!  wow that nails it.  maybe I was even thinking that subconsciously but I didn't make the connection.  beard power.

I am cautiously excited for this game.

Looks pretty slick, Jack

Fingers and toes crossed that this doesn't suck.

Some fantastic voice acting (as well as FarCry 3).

Posted by JackSukeru

Huh, this actually looks pretty cool, even the story/character part.

Posted by MeatSim

Seems like it's got more going for it then the first two Lost Planets.

Posted by CodeFire

Wow, I... just might have to buy this game.

Posted by Dark_Lord_Spam

Holy shit, that opening actually established him as a sympathetic character. If the entire game has a foothold that strong, count me in.

Third time's a charm. Looks like this one might actually be good.

These shooters are in bed with each other or something. Dead Space is going more Gears of War, and Lost Planet is going more Dead Space.

Posted by MiniPato

John Cusack is in this?!

Posted by tormod

This looks sweet! Seems like they Westernized the franchise...

Looks great, but Lost Planet always had control issues for me. Waiting for a QL. The new direction could be fantastic!

Had similiar thoughts in my mind before watching this, having just watched the trailer for DS3 previously. Very confusing, indeed.

This does look pretty cool, though. But please, someone tell me that I'm not the only person, who more or less dislikes the idea about starting a game franchise with the (in this case) third installment? It's not that big of a problem and I'll probably forget about it once I start playing...but still! Just name it Lost Planet X or something!
