This just isn't going to be a MGS game and that is a huge problem.

Think it looks great, especially coming off the back of MGS4 where Raiden was doing some pretty effing crazy shit. They couldn't exactly do typical MGS could they, needed to be a bit mad. 

Could be a fun game.

If this is Metal Gear: Bayonetta, consider me on board.

Not really.

Basically, the ultimate soldier who they trusted to fight for them is unsure of the real enemy is fighting everyone, but is unsure why. To make it stop he has to fight his demons and see the truth because he thought he knew what he was fighting for.

Umm, I think that sums it up, kinda. Sounds like the writers Transfarred out of the there.

In all seriousness, I have never been a Metal Gear fan, but even I know that no trailer can really sum up a Metal Gear storyline in that time frame. Those stories have always, for better or worse, been much bigger with more twists and really can't be understood until the game is played.

Fucking awesome! Metal Gear is my favorite series and I couldn't be happier. You don't have to fear change, if you want more of the same go back and play the old games in the series again.

Cut a dude in half, and more.

Only problem.. a bit too fast at times. Don't like it when stuff is way too fast like DMC.

Fair enough. Then it looks like a completely empty game mechanic (which it always has, to a degree). I'm really struggling to figure out what this game actually brings to the table, and why it exists other than to expand the MGS fiction.

Revengeance is still a great word. I need to find a way to use it in everyday conversations.

This looks like a poor man's version of Ninja Gaiden. And I don't even like that all that much! So, thanks, but no thanks.

Maybe I'm alone, but I'm in love with the craziness that Platinum seems to always bring to their games. I have no interest in MGS 4 and beyond, but this looks like it could be fun.

I love Metal gear and platinum games. Day 1 for me.

The dialogue is awful in every way imaginable! Even by video game standards. But who cares? There are helicopters in need of slicing!!
