where are the cars? EDIT: Man I'm such an opportunist, everybody's busy watching streams and I'm first to comment...kind of eerie when I think about it....hello?...anybody?

Looks...interesting?

Such a farce of a competition. The females only had one good player and the guys had a freakin WoW player. Should have had more Quake/Tribes players who could actually show off their skills.

Looks as good as Trackmania. People are idiots

I have no idea what to make of this.

That is definitely Joe "Joe Miller" Miller. What the hell is he doing there?

Im glad to see them showing off the gameplay and positioning it as an esports game. But im really more interested in the customization. I would love to see the scripting features, i want to see how easy it will be for people to make their own game modes. It would be great if shootmania could turn into this all-star group of everyone's favorite game modes from throughout the years. The soccer-like game i cant remember the name of from the UT series, Jailbreak, all that stuff from the dawn of multiplayer shooters that were just crazy ideas for new multiplayer modes that people dont really do anymore.

Hey! You got your Professional Video Gamers in my video games

Looks great, nice and fast.

As someone who wanders in and out of gaming news, that demo did nothing to tell me what the game is.

I was going to bash this game hard, but on second thought, I think newmania might be right.

Bombing Run!

Played that with my national team (yeah, those existed) a little bit. Amazing times.

To get a better view watch the VOD of the live cast on Total Biscuits channel (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU9HZX4MTTE&feature=g-all-u). It's total biscuit and the guy from the E3 event casting.

As far as watching FPS goes it is quite interesting.

EDIT: My linked video has the proper match starting at 5 minutes in. There are plenty other videos from the tournament posted on the same channel for those interested.

Sounded like one of them was a Counter-Strike champ. Can't be assed to rewatch the video.

I want more tracks in this game and less shoot! I'll be playing that

Stermy has a Quake background and Spawn has a CS background. Swifty was the odd man out with no competitive shooting background and is only known for playing WoW.

I'm waiting to see the mod ability of the game, esports are great and all, but quakeworld and ut were fun because of the mapping/modding communities not because Fatality was dreamy, and right now Ubisoft hates the PC with a vengeance.

Just so long as it has the horn in it.

I've been watching the tournament videos on TotalBiscuits channel over the past few day and they got me really excited for the game.

This on the other hand is horrible, cringe inducing stuff. It's a real injustice to the game.

God that was awkward. The ladies bit of insight near the start cracked me up. I'll second the suggestion of watching totalbiscuit's streams of the preshow competition. I thought the winners of that (Mercenary Ops) were going to be at e3, but maybe that comes later. Bloody hope so, watching them was mindblowing.

You deserved better Shootmania! You didn't need this junk eSports presentation.
