This would be cool....only if I knew people on the EVE side of things that I could do missions specifically for or against.

Also, the PS3 exclusivity thing is just dumb.

How free is it? If they just mean there's no monthly fee, but you have to make a one-time purchase of the game itself, then I don't see it as a big deal.

The orbital strike actually comes from an EVE Online player. Pretty neat, but I'm gonna wait and see. Sony continues to test F2P on PSN and so far I'm not sold.

Looks very much like Battlefield 2142 at first glance. It'll be interesting to see how they link this to the Eve universe but the game play itself looks a bit 'meh'.
