Yeah they're on the disc but you gotta wait till the Vita version comes out to unlock.

The original English voice actor for Teddie was Teddie; seeing him replaced is painful. He was probably the best voiceactor of the entire bunch. They had better find a way to get him back for the Anime and The Golden, because that's almost a dealbreaker if they don't. I'm sad for Chie's loss as well, but it's not quite as jarring.

I think the new Chie voice is fine. Teddie is lesser but that's the reality of business sometimes.

Nope. Teddie and Chie have been replaced in Golden as well.

And as of right now, we don't know if they will get anyone back for the anime.

The fact that this was posted at midnight is really special to me makes me want to cry a little.

Teddie's new voice is just awful... :(

It really saddens me to hear they're using this voice to re-record his lines in Golden. So depressing... Dave Wittenberg did such a great Teddie. It's such a hard role to pull off and not be purely annoying. This new guy... can't do it. :(

Spoilers: most cartoon voice actors are twice the age of who they portray.

Also I agree with Jeff, I had this idea a couple months ago. Also this game looks awesome. I love the music stage.

Really? Chie and Teddie sound very different, but I swear the others sound a little different too.

SpunkyhePanda is correct. Only Chie and Teddy have new voice actors. The rest are all the same. Johnny Yong Bosch was just heard so little in the game as the main protagonist. He only occasionally said, "Persona" or "Zio".

I did a write up about the change in voice actors over on Anime Vice a few days ago. HERE The replacement for Chie, Erin Fitzgerald, has already done some voices in CATHERINE. The guy who's playing Teddy, Sam Riegel, was in the original PERSONA 4 as additional voices. He also has numerous credits in both ADR direction and script writing for anime. They both seem to be in pretty good hands.

Chie's original VA I don't think is active any more in voice acting. Teddy's replacement is a bit more confusing. Dave Wittenberg is still in anime and games. He's the voice of Kakashi in NARUTO.

MAn, I really wanted to support Atlus with this game, but to me, the voice overs were a key point in P4, sorry Atlus. I still love you.

Really, it seems like a no-brainer that they'd let you change his name. If they have to voice his title they should just say "boss" or something to that effect.

Persona 4 is rather well loved around here. It's understandable that "we" would be upset with these voices.

Oh, that's unfair to Atlus USA. They said they tried really hard to get back Chie and Teddie's VAs. Its not their fault they couldn't do it.
