What's with the minute-long ads in front of all these videos? Seems pretty excessive.

I just can't help it: I love Infinity Ward's big, stupid campaigns, even if this mission looks slow and dull.

Hopefully there is some throat stabbing during the "in the interest of time" section

Maybe a multiplayer map underwater could be different: capture the puffa fish :)

I doubt this would happen unless scripted, but I hope the blood produced by shooting guys underwater draws in the nearby sharks.

Since when to assault rifles fire underwater? Or any bullet with an explosive primer for that matter?

It better not be red also, you can't see it when you get far enough down.

@snizza: @lkpower: Many modern, military-grade firearms work while submerged.

EDIT: They're not nearly as effective underwater, naturally. Range is reduced dramatically.

@snizza: Some can, but effective range/accuracy is pretty significantly decreased depending on a number of factors including the type of rounds used.

What's shown here looks feasible.

Most military ammo is sealed, so you can (theoretically) shoot it while wet or submerged in water.

The problem isn't the ammo, but the fact that the water in the chamber would cause so much pressure that gun would literally explode. You might get a few shots off, but you're really pushing it at that point. Especially with rifle ammo.

Here are the results of what would happen after firing underwater. These guys did it with a .45 pistol which is much lower pressure than the typical rifle round. Imagine this but 100 times worse....

Never mind the issues with the guns, I'm pretty sure active sonar doesn't cause Shock Waves Of Death (TM) in the water (just Of Doom - if you're detected).

Also, considering the wound the guy had in his arm, is anyone else thinking that there's some missed potential there for environmental hazards, what with the shark we saw at the beginning of the level?

Dog Fish.

That's all I got.

Oh wait a minute. Isn't Call Of Duty abbreviated to COD...?

I'm done.
