Kiefer has only has like 3 lines, actually all at the end so they could cut it out of the sony conference. Manages to deliver the few he has flat and boring, and makes the last one so unintelligible I only know what he said because Is aw this in Japanese first. Fuck it, just let me play with the japanese voices at this point, I'm not looking forward to Troy baker Ocelot either.

Although I was underwhelmed by the Ground Zeroes gameplay, I can't wait to see Kojima go into pitch black, nihilistic territory.

@darkshaper: Its when the game is supposed to take place its also a cryptic hint to the games release date. The Big Boss era is during the late cold war. Snake eater is 1964, Peace Walker is early 75, Ground Zeroes is late 75, Phantom Pain is 84.Solid Snake era starts in 1995 with Metal Gear. MGS takes place in 2005, Sons is 07/09, Guns is 2014, and Rising is 2018.

Having just finished Peace Walker, I'm excited as all hell for this. Especially seeing the characters and locations from that game realised in such incredible visual detail here is fucking awesome.

you need to play at least Peace Walker, MG3 and maybe portable ops, or go read a wiki cause this looks like it goes directly to the first Metal Gear game.

I like this more dark and serious direction metal gear series is taking.

it looks like it has some pretty dumb stuff in it. I mean ground zeroes had the goofiest first aid spray animation I've seen since Resident Evil. As long as the main game proper has plenty of stupid stuff in it and keeps the cutscenes under control I'll be happy.

Well that was pretty heavy handed. Metal Gear is such a weird cocktail of over the top nonsense that takes itself too seriously mixed with bizarre humor. I just don't get it. I admit that I know very little about the story, but did anyone else laugh when he wiped a bunch of ashes on his face? Come on.

Yeah... I think this direction for MGS looks actually pretty sick. It feels more like old school dark MGS. That demon horn thing though... jezz a little heavy handed.
