This might be a good game however the trailer looks hella awkward. I just sayin but I wished it was not rehearsed motions.

I don't have a kinect, or an xbox, but this intrigues me. I can't wait for the quick look.

Yup, pretty much this for me as well. Also, was that Sharon Osbourne doing that demo?

Interesting but it still feels like a Dance Central downgrade with added window-dressing. A lot of little things in there that remind me of Child of Eden.

I'd consider buying this if I had an XBox One but I don't because there's no Dance Central for it.

Can someone get John Drake on the phone so he can explain what the hell is going on in these trailers?

Maybe I've seen too many trailers/demos for this, but I'm confused because each time I've seen it, I have a feeling that they've gone in and re-designed some fundamental part of the game.

That thing with the vegetables in the dark room...it was assembling a song? I don't know. I'm with @fonkymucker, there needs to be a John Drake guided tour of this thing because otherwise it looks messy.

Which is a shame. I really hope this is a case where the ads are bad because it's hard for the ads to catch the certain something that makes the game a blast.

Don't we already have a Fantasia video game? It's called Rez (or Fantasia, if you're literal and not fun).

Perhaps less outwardly-focused, the game looks like it has to succeed in spite of its advertisement. The music's fine, and the gameplay looks like it could match it, but whoever put together this trailer is not selling it particularly well.

Each one of these trailers looks more ridiculous than the last. It's like watching one part Boom Boom Rocket and one part full body QTEs. I have no idea who they're targeting with this game. It doesn't appear they're targeting the Disney "kid" demo but it doesn't look like they have anything compelling for Disney adult demo either.

I have a feeling this game is going to flop, hard, and Harmonix has a prepackaged excuse for it: "It's not our fault, Microsoft gave up on the Kinect!" The reality is Harmonix needed to get a Dance Central out for XBO first rather than this game. I know they don't want to hear that but it is what it is. Dance Central was one of the few titles that kept them relevant in a post-Rock Band world and it also was a strong selling point for Kinect. Not having a DC title at or near launch was a disaster for both HMX and Microsoft.

Haha, no, that was Annette who works for Harmonix. She's frequently the player/demonstrator in their livestreams.

The bits they showed of that looked like conducting (in this video, most of it was multiplayer) is the "main" game. Everything else (i.e. making music with the vegetables, playing with the fish, etc.) are unlockable minigames and toys you can play with in the hub worlds of the game where you choose the songs you want to play.

Harmonix is the only company that should be allowed to make Kinect games. This is a game made specifically for it. It has it's own unique depth that captures its purpose. It isnt shovel ware garbage that weighs the console down.

Good luck, guys.

So, the PlayStation Camera is better than the original Kinect, right? It would be cool if these types of games came out multi platform eventually.

...What the crap was that?

The future of Harmonix has looked real unstable for a while now. They really needed to adapt and start making something other than rhythm games that morphed into these crappy motion things.

Did Microsoft give them a dickton of money to make Kinect games or something?

Every trailer I get more and more confused by this game. I'm also starting to wonder why this even has the Disney Fantasia name linked to it at all. It seems more like a random set of scenarios more than anything.

Harmonix really do not seem to be putting any passion into these trailers, they are lifeless and explain literally nothing about what you are meant to do. Looks like this will crash and burn.

So after never seeing footage of this game, I have no idea what it is. Really really really bad trailer.

If I had that setup though, I would play kinect a lot. But moving shit out of the way for just a 50% chance of it working isnt worth it

Okay. I am really concerned for the future of Harmonix if they need this game to sell big. I fear more layoffs after seeing this trailer, sorry.

seems like they put to much crap in here - the fake city looks a little dumb. makes me worry that the interesting part, the new rhythm gameplay, didn't get as much attention as it could have.

I guess I'm in the minority as far as vocal people, but I really can't imagine using my X1 without the Kinect. Even just telling it to turn off without having to have a controller in hand is enough for me, let alone any other features.

That said, my environment isn't really conducive to any motion gaming, so I'm probably sitting this one out.

So it's sometimes a motion game, sometimes it's a tech demo? Sharon Osbourne isn't helping either.

I still can't get over the fact that figures like Bruno Mars are in this game. It's like Harmonix and Disney are doing everything they can to shit on Fantasia while they pretend to revere it.

Harmonix is missing out on bank every title they launch. Their games are never available for pre-order until maybe a few weeks before launch from places like Amazon. Everything post Rock Band 3 has been this way :(
