Always wanted a chance to play this. The Sony press conference was the last place I would have expected such an announcement.

Grim Fandango is such a fantastic game. So happy to get the chance to play it again (it's kinda broken on new PCs) and also give new players the chance to experience this marvelously crazy adventure.

Also, Ryan.

Grim is one of those games that I missed back in the day and always wanted to get back to, but then it got incredibly hard to get it legitimately. So, this is an awesome thing that they're doing and I can't wait to finally play this.

Very well-made video about the creation of a true classic. I can't wait for the re-release.

You know, I think I'm old enough now that there just isn't going to be a game to knock Grim Fandango from its rightful place at the very centre of my heart. I was twelve when it came out, so it took a few years until I got around to playing it, but when I did …

For some people it's Super Mario World or Zelda: Ocarina or whatever; for me that game is Grim. I can't wait for this.

Man, 1995 Tim Schafer looks weird.

I'm definitely looking forward to being able to play this game without having to mess around with Windows compatibility modes. My favorite LucasArts adventure game!

Can't wait! Because of my age and the fact that it didn't have tie fighters, I never played Grim the first time around, so I'm really looking forward to this. With so much cynicism in the industry it's nice to see how earnest and clearly passionate Tim is about his work. Very touching interview.

Apart from Baldur's Gate 2, Grim Fandango is my favourite game of all time.To this day i love the aesthetic of Noir and the Dia de los Muertos, and it's all because of this game that i played while i was 11. I couldn't be more happy to hear this news; during the reveal at the sony conference i exploded in cheering in front of my computer!

I'm pretty sure this is all footage cut from the Tim Plays [Insert His Old Game] videos and the excellent Double Fine Adventure documentary. Check them out.

Edit: Okay. MOSTLY pulled from those videos.
