E3 2014: No Man's Sky is Simply Gorgeous

Good god I want this game.

At least this doesn't seem like it's going to have horrible strategy sections like Spore...

Seems to be shaping up well, but there is a bit of a scale problem when transitioning from space to planetscape and vice versa. Hopefully they'll extend the amount of time it takes to enter/exit atmosphere by a few more seconds to make it seem a little less jarring.

Holy Hell! Jaw dropping, even if this is concept - I love the concept. If this an exclusive I will most definitely buy a PS4 for it (unless of course a PC version is announced)

I hope they don't do any kind of early access crap. Just release this when it's done. I want it to be perfect.

Looks cool, but I'm just not sure if I can believe all the things being said about it until i get my hands on the thing.

This is exactly what I was thinking. The sky for each planet is very small. I'm wondering if it was because both planets are small, but others are larger. We'll see.

If you really want to nitpick, the gravity on all the planets also seemed to be the same intensity. Can't account for all variables in the video game world unfortunately. Otherwise, looks amazing.

Or it's just for the trailer. This was a fairly quick showing and they wanted to get as much content into it as possible so more than likely they cut out the amount of time it takes to exit atmospheres, or purposely picked planets with small atmospheres.

Disappointed that it's currently a PS4 exclusive, but they haven't ruled out the possibility of a multi-platform future.

This game could be the next game I sink hundreds of hours into. I can't wait to hopefully hear more about it in the next Bombcast. Also, the music in this trailer is rad, eh?

I've heard all about this game for the past week and fuck this looks good.

I want them to put in an easter egg of our own solar system. Or place our 8/9 planets with their moons just once somewhere in the universe. Obviously they wouldn't look exactly like our planets but it would be cool.

I know that it is not really possible given the way all the planets are generated but still if they can it would be a cool easter egg.

Which was wrong, it's "Debutante" off of 65daysofstatic's "We Were Exploding Anyway" album! It's important to spread enlightenment :)
