I'll definitely buy a PC version. Hoping it gets some mods just like GTA IV... LCPD:FR was pretty great.

Was hoping for the "available right now" announcement. Is anyone really going to play GTA V again in the middle of peak season?

I can't wait for Red Dead Redemption total conversion with GTA V graphics and other small gameplay/engine tweaks they made better from RDR to GTA. Other than the PC mod stuff this is a bit luke warm for me, already got it on 360 and had a great time with it.

I hope they are finally able to fix the horrendous problem every gta has had before where you see the same 10 damn cars in whatever particular area you are in. I always figured that was a limitation of ram cache or something but even on pc gta 4 had the same issues.

Me too so damn long painfully long this is all I wanted to hear this week a gta5 pc confirmation just think the game was announced in the fall of 2011 then it got delayed until 2013.So basically the PC gamers have being waiting for this game for over two years that's just fucked up but now I'm so happy that it's coming to PC. Fuck yes, fuck yes day 1 buy physical copy for me so I can put this in my hand so I can touch the magical unicorn that was gta5 PC lol. The painful wait game is almost over just glad we know it's finally coming to PC FINALLY this fall fuck man I'm exciting as shit.

Of course it was coming to PC. Didn't every GTA so far? And how much better it looks is just incredible. The last GTA I bought was San Andreas, but this one is a definite! Looking forward to online and modding, too.

@m0nty: I am. I haven't played the first versions. This was the news I was hoping for.

They have except for the PSP games (Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories) but those don't really count as mainline GTA titles.

GTA IV was by all accounts a huge mess of a port that required a really beefy PC at the time to run due to poor platform optimization. Today, it isn't so bad if you pick it up during a Steam sale, but it ran horrendously and was a Game For Windows Live release on top of all of that. Yeah... not Rockstar's best years (2008-2010) from a PC perspective.

@amdman: 31 FPS is technically above 30 :-P

Oh and just to quote myself from Witcher 3's trailer, Rockstar can still get me incredibly pumped just with the song in the trailer...and that's for a game I've already played!

Please, PLEASE, the team that made the Max Payne 3 port, DID THEY MAKE THE GTA V PORT?! They did a fantastic job. Whether or not that team ported GTA V, I hope it works as well or better than the MP3 port.

Oh man, so pumped for this. I tried to play GTA5 on a PS3 but my PC gamer brain just couldn't do it. Now I can finally enjoy this sucker.

PC all the way! Some of my favourite news from E3, alongside the (warranted) hope for the Master Chief Collection on PC.

Edit: Completely agree about how great the PC version of Max Payne 3 was, so well optimized especially compared to GTAIV

@m0nty: I've never played it at all, because I've been waiting for it to release on PC. Also, I don't play consoles. So yes, I will buy it and play it.

Also, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't wait this long to release it for next gen platforms and the PC without adding content.
