I know I shouldn't be as excited for this as I am after Watch_dogs was so disappointing, but UUGGGHHH this looks so cool. It's been six years since Rainbow 6: Vegas 2. :(

I think this looks cool, sort of like multiplayer SWAT 4. But god I find these scripted but trying to sound not scripted play-throughs painful.

This looks legitimately really awesome. Kind of like a L4D style set of maps that let you co-op your way through in different ways.

So uh... I guess Patriots isn't happening anymore?

Yeah, not quite what the old school tactical fans want, but definitely more in that direction, which afaik is completely absent from the AAA space.

Yeaaah...considered muting this after a while, but decided to push through. Amount of destruction looks pretty sweet.

I've been waiting for a new Rainbow Six game for years. I just want this to come out so I can play it. I played all of them and liked most, but damn if Vegas and Vegas 2 didn't consume my life for a few years. I still play R6V2 every now and then with a group of friends.

That was the most cringe worthy thing I have seen in a while.

I like how it is all slow and planned out, my friends and I will just be running around like spastics with shotguns shooting down everything.

The entire concept of these games which center on hostage rescue situations in multiplayer is doomed for failure...

Balance ? Let me ask you, if you were the hostage would you like the odds to be balanced ? Do we hear of any rescue team that likes to do their work with 'balanced' odds of success ?

They are trying harder and harder to make this look realistic when the main premise is totally flawed.

Really dislike the staged multiplayer its so cheesy. Game looks cool though, looks like a solid concept.

Looks good, but I agree with the GB crew, looks very early and proof of concept. Why didn't they just rappel the hostage out the window? How come there are only 5 SWAT guys in the house? Why didn't the police surround and secure the neighborhood? What's stopping the rogue team from executing the hostage? Doesn't seem to be a yet established incentive for both teams to keep the hostage alive.

I love the idea of tense, close quarters battle though. Demo looks like if The Raid were a videogame, which that movie is already. But it captures that sense of claustrophobic danger.

It's really cool to see games still having Clancy's name. He is a legendary man and it's really sad that he was killed cause he knew too much. I hope Ubi still uses his name in the years to come as a monument to him.

I certainly hope that isn't 'real' because the shooting looked horrendous.

I think I'm the type Rainbow Six fan that this is aimed at. The old school PC gamer who played the shit out of every Rainbow Six until they went hard down the console route. The Rainbow Six fan that missed the planning phase, played SWAT 4 instead of Rainbow Six 3 or GRAW, and wouldn't classify Vegas as a tactical shooter. This is a more like what I've been hoping Rainbow Six would do for over a decade.

I want this really for PC, but this is the type of game I would buy a console for. Ubisoft, please don't screw this up.

This up comming year is making me pretty stoked for The Division, Patriots, and Siege.

Lol Well, i'm not a conspiracy dude, AT ALL, but i kinda believe he was killed. Read some stuff about it and it all makes sense. Even his family thinks he was killed. I guess well never know the real, REAL truth... :)

I doubt that since there are PC button prompts, not console ones.

Same. I try to have some type of strategy when it comes to games like this, but once bullets start flying I just go into mow down mode. It works...like 10% of the time. But it works :)

So excited for a new Rainbow Six game. This was the first multiplayer shooter I ever played. RIP MSN Gaming Zone.

I'm starting to get sick of these fake commentaries.

One thing I've noticed it that Ubisoft's most flawed games are their biggest titles. We all know what happened to Watch Dogs. But look at something like Rocksmith 2014 for example. Awesome game and they even removed uplay from it and now it just boots through Steam like any other game without having to log in. Rainbow Six: Siege is probably not going to be one of their biggest sellers since it is mire niche and doesn't cater to the wider fps audience (so far at least) so one could hope that it won't be ruined. Seems like less terrible decisions go into their not as hyped up games.

Also for those doubting how close the game really is to this trailer. There are at least two rounds of multiplayer gameplay from E3 where people got to play it. Looks pretty much exactly like the trailer, minus the whole rehearsed and scripted bits obviously.

Man. This game is like Counter-Strike (especially Global Offensive), but more improvement and I will make my # Reasons Why Rainbow Six: Siege is better than Counter-Strike.
