E3 2014: Zelda, Impa, and Midna Join Link in Hyrule Warriors

I swear if they don't let you play as the one character I actually want in this game...

I don't like the dynasty warrior games at all... and Zelda in boob army is kinda weird... but I'll probably still cave and buy this game :/

I think it is neat you can play as Zelda. I hope this game is more than Dynasty Warriors with a Zelda code of paint.

Odds on Yellow Turban Rebellion, 5:1?

You know it would be great if they had a secret Dynasty Warriors level where you fight in the Yellow Turban Rebellion. And every character you play as just sounds and looks confused.

You can clearly see the map in the nintendo direct. It's a bunch squares with small paths in between. Looking at the rest of the gameplay this is EXACTLY DW with a zelda skin so yeah...

I've never played a Dynasty Warriors game, so the fact that this is exactly one of those won't be a problem for me. Woo!

This game looks like mindless fun. I shall enjoy it.

Not quite. The game features elements like Zelda's Z-targeting and subweapons, and bosses aren't all just enemy officers, but monsters like dragons. Maps even have bomb-able hidden chambers to find secrets. There are some strong Zelda influences in the gameplay that set it apart from just being Dynasty Warriors with a Zelda skin.

I cannot wait for the day to play it. All day, my mind just keeps coming back to two words: Playable Zelda.

And it just brings a smile to my face.

Started to get seriously excited for this, this could end up being a system seller for me. I guess I need to start saving up.

Midna is so cool. Best Nintendo princess by far! Though warrior Zelda is pretty cool too.

In their defense, it's a pretty good game.
