E3 Trailer: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Oh no, this reminds me of the Penumbra games with the no weapons thing, and when you take weapons away, things get a lot scarier :O

Like that's supposed to mean anything to either the poor dude in the game or the person watching the trailer. At least the game looks good.

ok.... this looks to be a few things:

Music was pretty nice. The half life- ish shadow effect too, together with the voice acting.

nice atmosphere, music and soundfx :)

Brad said something about how the shrink at the start of the game will affect the game depending on what answers you give. That could be awesome and terrefying. If the game changes according to your psychological profile.

Been a big fan of the series since the first game, and I'm pumped to see that they've finally done what needed to be done from the beginning and completely did away with the combat.

This is being released on PS2...interesting.

The song is a cover of Elvis's "Always on My Mind." As far as I can tell, it's exclusive to this soundtrack. As for the singer, I have no idea who that is.

Edit: It's Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, and the song is indeed part of the SH soundtrack.

wow. I liked what I saw, this plus Mario Galaxy 1&2 and Metroid might mean it's time to buy myself a Wii....maybe.
