Huh, this is the first time I really noticed a difference in voice overs between VJ and BR.  George's confession had a lot of different lines.  Is this unusual or has this been happening often and I haven't noticed?

Wooooooooo! Endurance Run that's lnoger then 20 minutes!
BR DELIVERS

Posted by Brians

Posted early too which is nice.

Posted by fox01313

Still surprised that team BR didn't visit the other bar at night, also by now I'm really surprised that they haven't figured out that there's effectively 2 downtowns to this town (sherrif & 1 bar on one side, milk barn, junkyard & dart bar on other side).

The knock at York's hotel room should have been a midget talking backwards though the other visitor is nice too.  The guy running Panda Bear must have no time to walk around to see the cards scattered all around town, getting there a few moments after York picked up the cards.

Brad clearly had some insider information about the reward for George's mission.

FAST TRAVEL!!!

Edited by Bratcher_Lev

Oh man, I was going to get the radio first thing tonight. They actually beat me to something. Cheers, mates!

Posted by IronRinn

Woohoo! We have radio!

Posted by PhatSeeJay

I like how different the games are for the two duos even if they're pretty much neck and neck in the story.
Unlimited gun for VJ and Fast Travel for BR.

Exactly what I was just thinking. Which would you prefer if you could only have one or the other?
Edited by Ghostiet

Was I the only one expecting a huge fucking card to pop up with the line "I art Thou, and Thou art me" when George promised he'll follow York's orders from now on?

Fast travel. With limited ammo, it's a bit suspenseful, and with fast travel it skips over the parts that are just flat-out boring.

Holy crap I finished the game didn't know there was a fast travel with the Radio .. DAaamn it.

I don't remember ever seeing George's mom.  I suspect she's a corpse in the basement.

Posted by adoggz

it bugs me so much that they havent learned the simple layout of that stupid town.

George's scene was touching :(

Personally I think Agent York needs to show Zach his back...

Duddeeee....

I think That was Thomas in Drag... O.O XD XD XD!!

Edited by gkhan

Ok, so lets think this through (and btw, I have no idea what actually happens, so no spoilers)...

The two suspects floated by Team BR are George and Agent York. George certainly looks guilty of Diane's murder. He was posted outside the art gallery for hours while the rest of the crew were tailing Nick. He was certainly there, so he doesn't have an alibi at all.

But the timeline for that murder is way weird. The murder must've happened after Nick got there, because Kaysen said that Nick interrupted him and Diane. But that's a real small window. York, Emily and Thomas was just minutes away from the art gallery when they were run down by the truck. It couldn't have taken that long for them to get there. In that time, someone must've entered the house and knocked Nick unconscious.  George could certainly have done that, he was right there, and then come up with the whole "I was drinking" as an excuse. But in order for him to be the culprit, he must've snuck in, knocked Nick out, murdered Diane, and strung her up, all before York and the team arrived. That doesn't seem possible, unless that truck delayed York by, like, an hour or so. After that point, Thomas and Emily doesn't leave his side.

In fact, the only significant period of time that the deed could've been done is after York has entered the house and run around for a while. The game never says how long he's in there, it could be five minutes that feels like hours to him, or it could actually be a few hours (though why the team would wait that long, I don't know).

That gives credence to the "York is the killer"-theory. That his running around in zombieland is in fact an elaborate fantasy, when in reality he's killing women and sticking red seeds in their mouths. But that doesn't square with the first two murders. He wasn't even in town when Anna died (we see him arriving), and we clearly see that he has an alibi for Becky's murder. Remember, he's meeting Olivia by the diner, and Emily gets a call from George that Quint has seen something, and when York arrives, Quint says he's seen the rain-coat killer. Clearly, something had happened even before York arrived to go through the zombie madness.

I don't know. Either it's someone other than York or George, or else SWERY is just a shitty plotter.

Hmm.. I would probably go for fast travel.. Unlimited gun takes a bit of edge off the 'action' parts.. though they are more tedious than fun so it's really a tough choice.
Posted by RipAndTear

Y'know, right here - this game looks pretty nice. You've grown on me like red ivy, Deadly Premonition.
Posted by TheClap

So who is further along in the Deadly Premonition Tech Tree? BR with their sick radio, or VJ with their gun/car situation?

Posted by Brake

Okay, so now VJ needs to get the radio and BR needs the infinite SMG. That oughta get rid of some of the tediums of the game.

Posted by Ronald

Good job on getting the radio. Now, York can teleport around town. Hopefully, this means Brad isn't so worried about driving places he will visit other places and get some more side quests done.
