Endurance Run Go!

Edited by dr_mantas

We have to endure the run, people

Edit: LOL at Ryan standing up - a new PERSPECTIVE...

 Zach, are you here?

Posted by Winternet

go!

So close!

So fast. Dx

Posted by Ley_Lines

ya'll are fast

Posted by JayDubya

I wish this game was as lengthy as Persona.
I need my Endurance fix and after this it will take a while before a new Endurance will be done.
Posted by DjDonFrancisco

I love how VJ mistakingly got it on their first try. But BR are still trying to figure out the intricacies of fishing.

Posted by TheThirstyWhale

sigh, here i am refreshing refreshing to get that first comment quest, i step away for 5 minutes, and of course that's when it comes
Posted by Carlidus

well, they missed out on the infinite magnum

Posted by dr_mantas

You know when it's the best time to find out about exploding barrels? Episode 32, almost twenty hours into the game...

Posted by Desensitized

You dudes can buy the magnum at the Panda Bear. You can also buy it from the toolbox.

Posted by Winternet

Brad, do you have problems with sleeping? There's no time in crazy world and you carry enourmous amounts of food and yet you're terrified of going more than a light sleep. Sleep is your friend, Brad.

How does brad finish games on his own? lol

Hook, line, and stinker. Bull's Eye!
I have never seen fishing done so badly as in this game. Nice Shot!
Worst music in a video game. Bull's Eye!
Loved Ryan's reaction to Michael.
I am so glad I will never have to play this, and truly I would be better off not even knowing about this game.
Early on I kind of found it weirdly compelling, now this far in it is not something I would enjoy.
Thinking I will stop commenting about the game, and just enjoy the ER's.
After this maybe they will do a retro game like FFVI, or ChronoTrigger, UltimaVII, or IX?

Posted by kollay
@JayDubya:  Agreed. However, I do understand them not being fond of running for another seven months, BUT! Those seven or so months were such a blast.

Episode 32... And they discover all the barrels are explosive... Heh, love it!

Fishing Success!

So I've been thinking about why it infuriates me so much to watch Brad play games... it's not just that he's bad at playing them, it's that he's so damn cocky about stuff.

For example, if given the choice, why would you not sleep as much as possible to fill your health bar for free?  I don't care how many health kits you have, free health is free health.  These are the kind of things that Brad doesn't even seem to consider.

Also, anyone with even the least common sense would have tried stuff out to figure out the controls and the exploding barrels earlier.

Despite this, I still like watching both ERs.

Story missions are so boring.

Posted by gbrading

So the barrels explode eh? :P

"There ain't nothing been done in the FBI that Hoover didn't do first." I totally agree.

Yes Ryan tells the truth to the world, this game is wierd but entertaining nonetheless.

Maybe if team BR is looking for something to buy in the game how about a BRAND NEW CAR! Didn't mean to go all price is right but there's a lot of things to buy in the junkyard, it's where most of my $ in the game went to.

Posted by dudeglove

I wonder if Brad's skill at video games is inversely proportional to the number of people in the room?

I don´t  think he is bad at gaming. He just has a "special" way of approaching the Game that i don´t get. I quite often scream at the Screen when he makes a bad decision. But that is also the reason to watch the ER. I don´t want to see somebody play the way i do. I want to see a different way. But sometimes it´s just frustrating ....

when the window broke i was really expecting one of the giant dogs too jump through it

What you should do next time is not bother refreshing until you need to go away for 5 minutes, and then stay and refresh instead.

This plan is flawless.

Of course you don't have a sense of time your in crazy zombie land where you can't tell how long it takes to get a suit dry cleaned even.

The previous episode was painful. What annoys me about Brad's play style is that he goes into a room, sees an enemy directly in front of him, then starts shooting it without checking to see if there are enemies to his left and right. Or he rounds a corner, sees an enemy, then starts shooting it without checking to see if there are enemies on any other side. It's infuriating.

He does have moments in which he handles things pretty well, though.

That...was the most retarded thought process I've ever heard.

Hey, a bed! You can restore your life by sleeping!

Nah, I've got enough medkits

How about you SLEEP? Then you'd have FULL HEALTH, WITH your medkits.....

I love the fact that the other two got the documents on their first try at fishing.

Man Brad, we all love you but the way you play games is just dumb.  You ignore the complete fundamentals of the game and then die and complain about it.  Then there are the completely obvious things that happen and its mind boggling how you don't get it.  And also you have a really short memory span that lasts like 13 seconds and forget how to get to places and the people you see.  But these are the things that make you you and fun to watch and thats why we like you.

Posted by SonicBoyster

Think of Brad as a kind of... inspiration... the aspiring game critics out there.  You don't have to be particularly proficient in the basic mechanics of video game design in order to get yourself a job doing what you love to do.  That is assuming that Brad actually loves doing what he's doing... Well, getting a job doing what you can tolerate.

Brad: (has infinite worms. worms=bait) "I should have bought more bait."

Posted by insane_shadowblade85

Fuckin' A, they finally decided to shoot another barrel. About time lol
Posted by Bratcher_Lev

Also, I made my ringtone the whistle theme, Life if Beautiful, which is great, but whenever it plays on the game I think my phone is ringing.

"So, he likes to rape bones?"

I LMAO'd more than I should have.
Edited by TaylorPollock

Brad is the king.
Fishing, only prompt on screen, "Hit B"
FAIL
"I tried A."
Fail
"I tried the sticks."
Fail
Brad, what did you do.
"Mmph"
"I put the controller in my mouth, didn't work either."
It would be a blast to have a beer and play co-op with Brad. He is such a crack-up and possibly the most random gamer in the world.

We did the monster mansion.  It was a graveyard stansion.

The whistling haunts the darkest recesses of my soul

@bcjohnnie: This is exactly why I love watching Brad and think he's terrific. Just like you, me and frequently Ryan, Brad does the exact opposite of what I would if I was holding the controller. So I get to see the game played with choices and actions I would never make. It's seeing things happen from a perspective I would miss myself.
And Ryan needs to tumble to the fact that he needs to use reverse psychology to get Brad to do what he suggests.
Brad consistently does the exact opposite of whatever Ryan recommends.
I love it.

Lay off Brad, you bunch of fuckheads.

Why buy the car when they already have the radio?

Ah...7 minutes of fishing.  Great! Bulls-eye!

My new band is going to be called Agent Honor

YAY they shot a barrel!!

Posted by WolfmanJenkins

Did I just hear Brad state that there is no prompt telling to you to press a button during the fishing sequence? Never change, Brad. Never change.

Agreed 100%. That's why I watch these things. They do the crap I probably wouldn't do. Otherwise, what's the point?

I don't think anyone could endure 100 hours of Deadly Premonition.
