Here's yet another minimal spoiler warning about the true ending (I'm sure Jeff and Vinny don't actually read the comments themselves, but Drew probably does to pass them on):

No. You aren't ready to leave yet.

true ending dudes, it's not over.  let it happen, bitches.

Posted by bonbolapti

you guys need to get over this true ending stuff.

I think Ryan was playing Guitar Hero in the background. There was a constant clicking throughout this video.

Posted by Beomoose

On review: putting the chakra ring on Youske was dumb, Charlie for more damage or Yuki for more healing would have been the way to do.

Im fine with normal ending, its too perfect right now i think, ( even though true ending is awesome).

I mean the last episode being ep 150 and ending on a friday its perfect.

but i dunno

Masterfully fought, gentlemen. I salute you.

Posted by ocdog45

worst ending ever. 90+ hours you will never get back IMO.

Ahhh, what's the point of using a Soma when you still have more than 100SP for everyone?  You could have healed another 3 times first...

I guess I just don't get this line of reasoning. I'm not seeing how giving up seeing the real ending of the game after such a large time investment is preferable just so you can end on a convenient number.

Nice episode. The final boss of P4 (not including "True Ending" boss) seemed very tame compared to P3's final boss.

Posted by CitizenKane

Another amazing episode.  Can't wait for tomorrow's!

"That's complete BS!"
Woah.. Woah woaa

Posted by Jon93

You can hear Ryan in the background playin beatles rockband, that made me laugh.

And I think I can finally say it now.

The Investigation team WENT!

definitely.  i still have nightmares from that one hour battle in which he took over Yukari and healed himself.  that was a final boss.

Too bad they got rid of Bufudyne, it would of been useful

There is a spoiler-free guide to getting the true ending on this very website!
Jeff and Vinny, great job today, keep it up and go for the TRUE ENDING!

Whoa whoa whoa.  Are you saying there are games that act as time machines and gives you back the time you spent playing it?  Because I definitely want to try one of those!

A dark part of me wanted someone to break Ryan's arms so that darn clicking would stop.

Posted by TigerDX

for a few more episodes I will say only this:

There are mysteries that remain. Special Headquarters. Steak.

What's so special about the true ending, the boss battle pretty much plays out almost point for point like Earthbound and every other JRPG in the past 15 years. It's all pretty cliche, they've seen the best parts of this game already. Let it end.

" Someone please tell them how to get the True Ending, so they don't miss it. E-mail them or something, or at least tell them to check a walkthrough before saving the new game + data. "
I doubt their inbox is anything BUT people spelling out how to get the True Ending.

I don't think they'll go for it though, or maybe do it later as a post-endurance-run coda or something. The game itself basically requires a FAQ, or lots of dumb luck, to trigger the final dungeon and story points. The only clue you're given that there's more is that you're only at rank 9 with the Seekers of Truth.

They've played it from the beginning as people who are just playing the game. No (obvious) FAQs, other than cheating on tests. No forums on optimal fusion techniques. They're just extra funny guys who love video games, and are loving playing this one without getting all RPG OCD crazy on it.

It's been a great run. I felt like my mom and her soap opera at some points, Alpha's gotta watch his stories. My hats off to them all.

Personally I feel like, as much as I love P4, it turns pretty meh starting around the point of the creepy beauty pageant.  The spark of nutty awesomeness that draws you in early on just goes away, and you get a zillion days of fog and most of the focus just goes down to grinding through dungeons and knowing the secret correct route through dialogue trees... characters lose their personalities and you get less of Chie and Yosuke arguing, or Yukiko breaking into laughing fits at Kanji, and the whole thing just stops getting new twists so much as fake endings that you can avoid by discovering the manipulating force behind the thing you just beat.

Honestly... true ending's just not really any better. Just... takes a bit longer.

can totally hear someone playin guitar hero in the background

I can't believe there are people who actually think they should give up before finishing the game, after playing it for 90 hours and building a huge community.

Then again, I remember the people honestly arguing that Vinny and Jeff should have gone for the bad ending and ended it there. This hasn't been "let's see how far we can get" for months now, it's about beating the game.

ITS NOT OVER NOT YET

Posted by Toidiedud

Actually its quite possible for them to get the True Ending with no FAQ...specially if they wanna find out what the deal with the rank 9 judgement is...

The only thing that is perplexing about the true ending is the last part to start it but other than that its pretty straightforward.

Or they might just look at an FAQ since they think the games over so they wanna see if they got the true ending >.>'

Hopefully they will do it so it wont end so soon and it would be fun and give more closure...

Posted by FanofFans

That was intense! Though, I'm kinda sad now that it's almost over. Unless they decide to try and get the True Ending or something.

Except that rank 10 Judgement will happen before 3/21, so their suspicion of that will be gone.

*VERY IMPORTANT VERY IMPORTANT VERY IMPORTANT* (I tried to keep this as vague as possible)

Ok, I'm not sure if anyone has told you this yet but it is very important. On the last day, once you have spoken to everyone, the game will prompt you to 'go home.' This is what you want to do:
1) Say no to the prompt.
2) Go to Junes.
3)Continue to tell the game prompts that you do not want to go home as you head into Junes.
If you do this, you will be rewarded with a scene, and I will leave it at that...

Posted by Toidiedud
@InfiniteGeass: My bad I forgot I havnt played the ending for a while :P

Still even if you dont know about getting the true ending it just smells fishy like the game is trying to force you to not do something

Man, you guys need to do more endurance runs. It makes your site more awesome then it already is. <3

god Surt saved my butt in that fight.... persona 3 ER???

Okay guys, 2 for 3 so far. You're looking at the good ending now. Go for the true ending. When the game asks you to go home, SAY NO. When it asks again, SAY NO. I'll leave the rest up to you, here's to hoping for the true ending.

Posted by ashogo

This game has a backwards difficulty curve for it's bosses.

Seriously, shadow Yukiko and Kanji are the hardest, and it just gets easier from there.

Posted by OkTank

Yeah, though they seemed curious about the ending I just don't see them figuring out the bizarre trigger point for the true ending without a faq. I know I didn't at my playthrough. You truly have to remember everything from start to finish and even then the string of logic that would cause you to trigger the true ending is really convoluted . Here's to hoping that my suspicions of Jeff using a faq is true, because the true ending is the ONLY satifying ending in this game...

Why are you always on the videos posting negative comments?

Anyways I'm really excited for tomorrow. I have school, but I'll be runnin' home to see how this ends, it's been such an awesome ride!

Exactly no one makes him watch it. He could just ignore the video, instead he takes time out to post a comment.

for me the video keeps ending right when adachi appears laying on ground after they slayed the big eye

and it still shows there is like 3-5minutes left in the video when it abrutly ends. hope this is a glitch or something
Edited by sephirm87

theres a little something more to this game.  Check the endings guide for good pathways (some may have spoilers).  You could also go back and watch episode 1 for clues to the true ending.

Man, the anime sections are terrible. P5 better get some decent animators.

This is also what I would like to say.  The True Ending is worth it, as the normal ending does not wrap up the story.  We still do not know how anyone got the power to enter the TV, or why.  We have only seen the first layer.  I shall say no more and hope the guys continue on to the Truth.
