I have never really been a big fan of the Gears franchise, but is $5 down, to play the beta/demo can help make the multi-player come anywhere near what they are showing, then it might just be worth it.

I'm so psyched. I knew coming into Gears 3 that they might make the same mistakes if they had the same development cycle as Gears 2. I think it was a smart move for Epic to wait another year to release GoW3, so they could polish the last game in the gears trilogy and give it the send off that it deserves.

It's a nice marketing campaign that seems to be assuring everyone, but I'll wait until the final product is released.

hahaha, the score system on tdm is probably the most stupid thing I've heard. GJ on just reversing the scoreboard real innovation..

@Agent47: u mad? Not my fault that you're against the first game's multiplayer because you got destroyed by that weapon. I was talking about the way the first game felt anyways, not the flood of people using shotguns, which is still an issue in Gears 2. At least in Gears 3, Epic looks like they are trying to do their best to give better options for people to use so that a match won't end up in a shotgun fest.
