@sergotron: Me to. I kept dragging the screen down little by little in hopes to avoid most of the scare. No avail, which makes me as happy as it makes me sad.

It is a missed opportunity if this game doesn't take a dark turn. You can tell by a lot of the comments that people felt something scary was going to happen. I thought the tape was going to go all EVP or the photo of the girl was going to get all scary or something.

I think it's more likely that it will skew sad than scary, but who knows. Considering Patrick posted it, I was definitely expecting something scary, but this was interesting, too.

I hope this trailer was in the perspective of a robber looking through some one else's shit.

I thought that it was going to turn into a first person horror game. Was waiting for the jump scare the entire time, especially when the song ended.

That magic eye is just the lamest, most used one of the lot.

I was totally on edge that entire time, expecting someone's face to melt, or the music to stop suddenly, or something to flash in the background, or her to turn over the book and it was covered in blood, or, or, or...

I don't know whether the prevalence of first person indie horror has broken me, but that was terrifying. ESPECIALLY because nothing happened.

I dunno... I was in at first, but I don't know how I feel about it after the trailer was over. If it's legitimately strange and creepy I'd be into it, and I guess I should assume it will be, but if it's really just an exploration of a normal home filled with 90s nostalgia then I'm less interested.

I love the premise behind Gone Home, but I didn't realize just how "remember the 90's" it was going to be. I trust the game to be more than just a string of references, but there wasn't a lot of restraint in the trailer.

So, is this supposed to be an adventure game of some kind? Will there be puzzles? I guess I'm not clear on what the actual gameplay is supposed to be.

I was watching this going oh man oh man something scary is going to pop up and scare me. But it didn't and know im more scared of this game.

Perhaps you explore the house, listening to this girl narrating and at the end you look in a mirror and you're some creepy stalker dude who was listening to that girl talk on a walkman or somin' .... I dunno, would maybe make it cool after you'd been going through all the shit in that house.
