Finally watched this...or well, the first minute of it. Still looks like fun, but that commentary couldn't be anymore off-putting.

I enjoyed playing the beta, so I'll for sure be picking this up for PC next year.

I am really trying hard to keep my interest high as they do everything possible to crush any good will towards the game with their shitty "YO! ESPORTS SON!!" trailer idea.

I can't bring myself to get excited for this. I know so,e people have said once you play it all clicks. But I still can't help but feel this will be a one trick pony. I don't know? Il try the beta for sure.

Wellp... was interested in seeing the new map, but I'm not going to watch another Evolve video seeped in "esports" nonsense.

This was a really awful way to show the game. Even if the commentary wasn't really hollow and disingenuous sounding, the competitive nature of this game is not something I can follow as a "fan" 6 months before it's even out and I've played it to get some idea of the mechanics. It just comes off as a confusing mess.

The game seems to have the best part of Natural Evolution going for it. As a big fan of classic NS, I'm sure this has plenty of potential to be fun, but man, did the trailer make me cringe. I feel embarrassed for having seen it. The wannabe sports commentary was too much.

Where have you been for the past 6 or so years. This isnt new for the industry.

I really hope there are maps with more than just dark grey aesthetics.

It is driving me up the wall hearing how Microsoft are forcing developers to brand multi-platform releases as Xbox exclusives. It is downright disingenious not to state the fact that the game is coming out on other platforms. I think this is the first trailer in which they even showed the logos of PS4 and PC at the end. If it was a time-exclusive, I'd understand why they'd try to make a big deal out of it, but the release date is the same for all three versions of this game. You're testing me, Microsoft.

That said, this thing looks pretty, darn cool.

I like the idea of this game. I keep going back and forth on whether or not it looks good though. Every other video changes my mind.

As far as marketing, they need to focus on "fun with your friends" more than whatever this stuff is with the announcer.

The commentators are good when you're watching a match happening live, but good Crom they're the worst in a prerecorded video.

Don't know why, but the "e-sport commentators" really ruin this for me. I just can't take their forced enthusiasm. If this is what you need to make your game look exciting, then I think we have a problem.

Passably excited for this game, but I didn't find the combat featured in the trailer especially dynamic. Might just be that particular monster.

Still, hope it's good!
