Fallout: New Vegas Old World Blues Trailer

I don't think that this looks that great. In hindsight, I think that technically there should be more or  less the same amount of DLC for most if not any games in the numerous series put forth by developers of games (video games). I mean come on, when you look at this with rational thought backed up by solid logic about how things are generally done in this day and age, it kinda makes sense most of the time in some contexts. That being said, I can't believe I got the initial post while already having completed this quest and for that I apologize. At least I wrote an insightful opinion in my edit (actually more like fact). Sometimes it surprises me just how often I can be surprised by surprising events. I know I play some last week, still crashes waaay to much.

I seriously haven't crashed in like 40 hours according to steam, and yet I played some FO3: GOTY edition and crashed 3 times in 2 hours.

Terrible looking game now. Maybe fun to play but the gameplay is old.

Problem is, they've copied the wrong DLC. They take the formula of Mothership Zeta and Operation Anchorage- make it really combat based and linear, instead of something like Point Lookout, where you create a whole new open world, tons of side quests, and basically make an expansion.

Iv put in a good 40+ hours in the last 2 weeks and crashed once because my pc decided to update.. otherwise it works just fine for me now.. and this DLC looks awesome.

Yeah, I guess I was thinking more of Dead Money, which I didn't really enjoy at all, and I had/have no idea what the gameplay of this one was like other than the trailer, which made the whole thing seem like one large combat level.

Good thing I'm in the mood for some Fallout.

I'm never disappointed to find a lot of half baked thoughts and crying in the comments. The first expansion was kind of bad. The second was better and this looks interesting as well. Yeah, the engine is old, but that shouldn't matter if the game is still fun. And for those that can't possibly play a game unless it is the newest in shiny graphics, Skyrim will be out soon and I'm sure Fallout 4 will use that engine.

 I think this looks pretty cool, and I think it's quite imaginative. Bunch of scientists who turn themselves into floating robot platforms are at war with another scientist robot platform with robot versions of creatures you've seen before and possibly undead moon men. Something about this just screams schlocky cinema to me, and it seems the dev/marketing team are at least aware of this too. I think I'm down for some fun

I like the humour quite a bit. With the recent patch, New Vegas runs pretty well. So I might buy this. I'm definitely thinking about it, unlike with Honest Hearts and Dead Money which I didn't even consider buying.

So, how many months will this be 360 exclusive for before it hits PC?

You know, I love the Fallout franchise, have ever since the beginning ... but godDAMN can I not wait until they move away from this engine.  Gamebryo is sporting a pretty gnarly set of stretch marks at this point.  Making it a little hard to show the love.

I get a serious Mothership Zeta feeling from watching this, and that ain't a good thing. I may actually pass on this DLC. I really liked Honest Hearts but disliked the first DLC. Heres hoping the next DLC is even bigger.

give me 4 "quality community mods" that offer as much as this. ALSO, cheeseball voice acting? some of the better voice acting have been in the DLC (specifically thinking of Dean Domino and Joshua Graham). also if you think these places actually existed before the game shipped in any playable form, than you're kinda dumb and don't know how game development works

Actually looks quite interesting with the cheezy 1950s atomic horror/sci-fi theme to it. Dead Money didn't look all that interesting but will get this one.
