Yep looks great, but its just another military FPS and I got a bunch of those so unless when this comes out it does something completely new and awesome.  I probably won't pick it up.

I get goosebumps every time i watch a Battlefield 3 trailer.

It's a shame all that tech is going to another modern first person shooter.

Okay sign me up!  I want this to be a great game, I want to buy it. 

Visually this looks incredible, however at the same time it looks too Call of Duty and not enough Battlefield. I hope this is only representative of the single player...

Still play Bad Company 2 pretty often, I just don't enjoy other FPS games nearly as much.

I like The Game, and I like his track "My Life", but honestly, they should've just used that instead of that shoddy ass cover.

I love how they have split about 15 minutes of a level into all of these different trailers, all of which have been great. Good for them.

This is a trend I would like to see die in twenty-eleven.

I haven't played many shooters in the past few years simply because I feel like the genre has been beaten to death, but I'd be willing to get back into the genre with BF3 again if it's really good. I hope it is kind of the death cry of the shooter for awhile though, and a paramount example of the genre and it's final expression. The tropes of all the modern shooter stuff are just so worn out.

Ah....planes. I fondly remember the days of BF1942, when half the team stays at the spawn, waiting to be a pilot, instead of actually contributing to the goal. Plus, there is nothing like getting teamkilled right as you reach a plane by some jackass who thinks he deserves to fly more than you do,  just so you can watch him go on to bomb any spot on the map with enemies, regardless of friendlies in the same area.

Sunday's 12min trailer will be a treat. Hopefully they'll expand on those vehicles scenes hinted at the end of this treaser and show more of those panorama shots of metropolitan cities at the very beginning.

Battlefield will have a huge popularity spike this year for sure.

Man I'm building a PC tomorrow and getting real worried about this game. Might have to upgrade less than a year after buying... ugh.

I can understand feeling fatigue from the endless CoD style shooters, but hoping for the "death cry" of the genre confuses me.  So games with a central shooting mechanic need to stop being made? 

It's perfectly reasonable to criticize developers for the lack of variety in the last few years, but why condemn the genre?  Every genre has examples of redundant and lazy game design.  Sports games, RPGs (whatever that means), driving games, platformers, they all have periods of stagnation.

Perhaps it would be better to hope for a reneissance of shooter design, rather than writing off one of the pillars of the game industry.

God, that looks awesome.

My god these trailers make me more and more sure that this is the year Call of Duty is forced to either adapt or die.
