That trailer was rather silly. I know this is suppossed to be a very good MP game, but I am not sure what they are selling there. Decent vocals?

I hope to the higher being above that this game doesn't turn out like Crysis, in that no fucken computer can run it when it comes out.

I only just upgraded my CPU to an i5.
Here's hoping that I only need to upgrade my graphics card when this comes out. I want to play this so badly. I don't think I can wait 3 years after release to play it maxed out.

This looks ok. I don't think it's the massive step up in graphics it seems to have been hyped as. Also I'm finding it tough to get excited about shooters anymore.

Am I the only one unimpressed by the graphics of B3? I know it's probably hard to do justice in such low resoulution but I swear the original Crysis still looks better with all the guages cranked to full..

..Well regardless I just hope the scope of the multiplayer is much higher this time around and i'll be satisfied. After DICE claimed they were just codifying the SP portion I really couldnt care less about that aspect.

Yep, still.

Remember BF3 is a pc AND console game. this means its still tied down.

@ThePantheon:  Well, it's PC first. It is DX10 and higher only on PC. No XP support. Has 64 players over 24 on consoles. This means that it's pretty much guaranteed that the levels are going to distinctively different in size and feel.

Firstly, we learn via Twitter from DICE rendering architect Johann Andersson the engine BF3 is built on -- Frostbite 2.0 -- is "primarily developed for DirectX 11"; XP and DX9 won't be supported (though you may be able to hack it). Also the engine will be especially optmized for 64-bit -- thankfully a lot of you have chosen the road less travelled. Good news in itself, but since consoles only support DX9, the implication is the PC version will be a "true" PC game.

So even though I'm a huge fan for the 360 version of BFBC2, I know that it'd be foolish to not get this on the PC... since I want the full experience.

I bet this won't be a poorly optimised mess on PC, considering how little resources have gone into a single player component, console versions, and the complete lack of pressure to sell more units than COD: Black Ops.

The song is My Life by The Game featuring Lil' Wayne. This is a cover by some Swedish band called JJ. The music from midway isn't the same song, just some digital hardcore sounding white noise.
