Hmm, wonder how they are going to do the "change your look" this time around in the game? Another explosion/cloning abilities, or just make it simple in-game and be like, "hey there's a plastic surgeon if you want some work done in between trying to save the galaxy."

While I like female Shepard, she is my main Shepard I will import when I eventually get Mass Effect 3, I feel like they just didn't spend enough time on the model when compared to male Shepard.

Is it weird that I think the fan-made trailer that @Abyssfull posted the other day is better made than this?

I don't feel like the epic music fits the Mass Effect vibe as much as their electronic stuff.

*sigh* and not to sound like I'm always complaining about something, but I do like the default female Shepard from the previous Mass Effect games better. This one looks a lot like Ryan's character from Saints Row the Third.

@solidwolf52: It appears to be a European trailer, so it's using a European date format for the release date: March 9, 2012. The US release date is still March 6, 2012.

@Babylonian: GOD I HATE THE TERM FEMSHEP SO MUCH! It's lazy shorthand that's loaded with the kind of sexist connotations that aren't actually present in the game at all. If it's a community-created term of endearment, they fucked up.

I have no idea how anyone plays a male Shepard; the voice actor is awful. Thankfully Hale does a great job. Can't wait!

Umm not only do I fully disagree with you, Obsidian made Alpha Protocol, I really enjoyed it but DA:O, ME1 and ME2 were far superior games

Are you kidding? That game was their worst. Dragon Age II is the best game they ever made, it was so unique all the way through and improved on every aspect of Dragon Age: Origins.

I think she looks cool. One of my various female Shepard characters had red hair, too. Count me among those pleased by this updated Shepard. Ultimately, however it and the canon male Shepard have little attachment for me since my Shepard is my own creation and the one true Shepard. Well, for my ME universe, at least. Hmm, actually since I have several, I guess I should say one of the one true Shepards among my ME multi-verse.

I prefer the term "LadyShep."

BioWare are fucking pros at making the ugliest characters. This barely resembles the art they released for the character model.

I know it's an old complaint but, come on. Male Shepard and some squadmates are modeled after actual people and Female Shepard isn't? Really? That's weak, Bioware.

I played as FemShep in ME2 because of horrible male Shep's voice acting was. I honestly thought he was autistic.

Hale's ShepVoice was my favorite part of Mass Effect games. Now this trailer made me wanna play the third one, despite all the terrible things I keep hearing about it.
