The combat in this game is not impressing at all. Makes me not care about this game anymore.

I wasn't going to get this but I just pre-ordered it. Can't wait to play. This will be the first MMO I get deep into.

Kinda weird how Jennifer Hale is playing both Satele Shan(decendent of Bastila) AND the female trooper. Maybe she sounds slightly different in each role.

I think you hit the nail on the head: You've never really been a MMO guy.

This game seems like it hardly has any reason to even be a MMO, other than to charge a sub fee for it.

The story really gives something to this game and i really can't wait to get back in and find out what happens to my character and companions.

Which is why i don't get why people play this and think it's a horrible game, it's functional, polished, the story is well written and the lines are delivered better than in most other games. If you want to play a MMO and/or like great (or at least good) storytelling, this is a game for you.

If you like shooting people in the face or action games, you should probably consider Batman or Battlefield 3 instead.

I hope there is a deep PvP conversation system where you can just talk your enemies into letting you win.

No, I don't care about violating NDA and getting banned by Bioware. I have no desire to play through WoW ever again. Why would I do it just because they added in lightsabers?

How is it terrible? MMO combat, especially PVP, can be very fun, deep and challenging. It requires a great amount of skill, much like an FPS. Know your environment, know your opponent, know yourself.

SW:TOR's combat might be crap, I havnt played it, but saying MMO combat is terrible is just pure trolling, good sir.

I played it and enjoyed it despite the fact that I was originally against the game (because of the shitty gameplay trailers like this one) They really need to stop making these videos. I don't say this about a lot of games, but you really do need to try this for yourself because it's hard to show in a trailer how the game plays when the trailer is trying to be all exciting and epic.

Also, MMORPG.com is a joke of a site, don't trust very much from there, you will be disappointed.

You never played the game, barely any of the quests have you go collecting random things from enemies, and the stories are standard Bioware quality. Yeah I call bullshit on you playing beta, as I maybe had a single quest with a collection requirement like you described. The story was actually pretty decent and involved fully voiced cutscene-style interactions with almost every character. Not to mention the story is COMPLETELY depending on who you pick.

If you did actually play you must have played the into quest of a single class and gave up, and if that's the case I don't really care if you didn't like it. It's your lose, because it's either this or Guild Wars, and GW won't be coming out any time soon.

This one might hurt WoW. However they spend what like a movie budget making this game? They need to pull in subscribers hard and fast to turn a profit. This is a huge deal and could hurt the company if it flops.

This trailer doesn't even show the game being played. So you wouldn't even be able to tell what it's like. It's like if you were to watch a match of a FPS in spectator ghost camera and say it plays like shit. It doesn't even make sense. You're just hating on the game for the sake of hating on it.

Well I got a beta invite and damn if it isn't a really decent MMO. This and GW2 are literally the only things that will be able to -maybe- pull me back into MMOs for as long as I can see. Everything else is garbage.
