Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin Sure Does Look Like a Final Fantasy XI Expansion

All, same thoughts here. I have just finished off Phase 2 beta testing on FFXIV:ARR and from what i am allowed to say, is you all will be impressed by the characters and the environment, it will truly be a noted FF iteration this time. a new benchmark is being set here, and the internal forums are a testament to the current positive opinions concerning the reboot. I never played FFXIV, so I do not have ability to comment on the previous version, but rest assured... the new one is going to be... impressive... ;-)
But, here is my problem... boredom has crept in ...FFXI is the ONLY FF I have not played, and I can either hang around and wait for the next phase of beta testing, or do something fun in the meantime... I just hope my "experience" in FFXIV:ARR will not "taint" my opinion of the game... :-) That said, SE is still putting effort into this... so maybe it would be something for now?

@verbsveli: you must not know how long the Sims and Everquest games got expansions lol... YEARS beyond their sequels lol

@mysteriousbob: it's not a PS2 game... it's an expansion... and for a while now they haven't updated the PS2 version so they wouldn't be stuck supporting the muddy low res graphics.. these only come out on PC and Xbox 360 now...
