I'm confused...

I think my head will explode when I finally get my hands on this game next year.

Old footage is old. 

Unbelievable visuals, as is per the squeenix norm. Now let's hope that we actually get a storyline this time with more than only a handful of likable characters unlike FF12.

There is way too much terminology in that trailer. I have no idea what the hell they are talking about.

The confirmed Lightning english actor is good(Alison Keith). No matter what you think of 12, it had top notch english acting(Balthier anyone?)

There is no reason to add the japanese acting really, it's just for weeaboos if anything.

Give me a second. *turns on music* That's better. Oh, joyous day! The series seems to be heading in the right direction after 12! Gone are the pretentious storylines, the masturbatory battle system, the....I assume summons that died at the slightest cough. This game is now on my hype list, which consists of.....one game. It's a very short list.

I still can't get over how Lightning looks exactly like a female Cloud, it really irks me.

Let's see:  Lost Odyssey. Check. Infinite Undiscovery. Check. The Last Remnant. Check. Still haven't played any of them. Check.

Maybe one day.

I haven't played a FF game since IX. None of the newer versions really interested me. XIII looks a game that I can get into.

This trailer didn't really do it for me, Advent Children with a spun off version of FF XII's combat doesn't seem too exciting. This feels like the video game development version of only buying two chrome wheels for an '87 CRX.

Eh, it could be alright. I'm over Final Fantasy now but if when it comes out the pulse indicates otherwise I might take a second look. To me there are more compelling and unique games being revealed, Alan Wake and the new Splinter Cell for example.

This is 2009, not 2001, whining about english dubs doesn't make otakus cool anymore (not that it ever did).

Also why is every FFXIII trailer the same?  It's always crazy powers chick and fro guy runnin' around that weird techno-forest place, fighting the same bosses with cameo appearances from hat dude and red hair chick.

Whats up with this? This is a really really old trailer? Its definitely not new! Thats not the new battle system, its actually the old battle system that they got rid of in lieu of the newer one, they have an even newer one that has yet to be shown off. Probably tomorrow or wednesday at the SquareEnix press conference.

And they are adding both the english and japanese language tracks to the PS3 version, so you can choose. They said they probably will not add the japanese lang track to the 360 version as it takes up a ton of space and they would rather reduce the amount of discs than please the small amount of fans that prefer it in japanese. But we shall see.

Anyways, not a new trailer, its been out for over a year.

Final Fantasy trailers are like this, because the games can't be.

Reminds me of Zion from The Matrix.

Square should just stop making FF games & put these things out as movies as nobody remembers the gameplay over the hour long cinematics.

The game should be like this. English subs not english dubs.

As usual nothing makes any sense so I am sure lot's of in-game exposition will be needed.
