So uh...lighting changed? A texture here or there? Weak stuff, overall still looked pretty lame. And that's the demo combat they show? A couple floating little orbs getting smacked around doesn't make for impressive gameplay. My hopes are not high for this game...

Except Galaxies hasn't been "successful" in a very long time. I'm definitely more interested in 14 than I was with 11 if not just because of them getting rid of the terrible shell that you had to deal with to play the game.

I love this video, it's like they are making sure you know that they are working on the game.

Mostly lighting improvements if I'm not mistaken, though not exclusively the change to the tiles and general colour work was better.

they've decreased both light effects and shadow effects in alpha... that kinda sucks

though as for what I saw in the exteriors, unless my eyes were mistaken, it looked better in alpha (in exterior as I said, not interior)
