Alright, looks pretty cool.

Posted by Deusoma

Great visuals, but it's so unflinchingly linear that it might as well be a platforming-themed rhythm game.

Edited by Sinful

hmm cool 3rd...
reminds me of battlezone and tempest.

Very Vib Ribbon esque.

I remember when this the original Unity version of this game won Free Indie of the Week on Bytejacker back in February, so it was super weird to me seeing the news that they put out a downloadable, pay-what-you-want version this week. I kinda want to grab it just to try out that new two-player splitscreen mode!

Vector graphics, because first-person platforming wasn't disorientating enough on its own!

Posted by Icemael

Looks like a first-person Canabalt.
That's not a good thing.

Played through this yesterday. It's pretty fun.

This is a pretty terrible trailer. The website mentions exploration, but the trailer just shows you running in a single line. Is it more like Mirror's Edge, or is it really a first-person Canabalt?

Posted by FlipperDesert

Looks kind of awesome, though that's a very straight line you go in.

Posted by artofwar420

Look amazing, but I wonder what playing it actually consists of.

Posted by BeachThunder

More of this! :o

Posted by Grilledcheez

That looks dope

Posted by AURON570

I like the arm-waving animations.

Posted by vivalanoah

Just tried it; it's awesome! I mean...it's free, so how much can you really complain?

Posted by whatisdelicious

My training with Mirror's Edge has made this game almost unplayable. In Mirror's Edge, one of the first things you learn is that you have to jump later than you'd think; in Fotonica, you have to jump a bit earlier. It's killing me.

Hold on a moment while I trip some balls.

Posted by HydraHam

Pretty sure i would have a seizure and die if i tried to play this on my 55", i about had a seizure just watching this video on my laptop.

Bio-digital jazz man.

Saw this earlier this week. It's pretty neat, but I was having a tough time figuring out what I was supposed to be doing. I ran and I jumped (jamp!) but I always felt like I was on a treadmill.

Posted by ModernAlkemie

This should look great once they patch in textures!

Stay on target. Stay on target.

Posted by 014

Looks cool to watch but not play.

Posted by Mordi

That was intensely indie.

Posted by Mumrik

Looks like trippy first person Canabalt

Posted by spankingaddict

I LOVE platformers , but this looks terrible!

@spankingaddict: I HATE platformers and this looks terrible.
Posted by solidlife

I will happily buy this as a screensaver

Posted by MisterMouse

woah that seems... very straight forward.

Posted by hurtfulmadmax

Loved it. Free to download and play. I'll give a few more levels a go before I pay/donate to support such an open-minded business model.

Needs more beat recognition

Posted by Vitor

Someone might want to mention that this game is 'Pay What you Want' so I got to try it out for absolutely nothing yesterday.

Neat idea but way more linear than even say Proun, which I played recently and got bored of pretty fast.

Tron meets mirrors edge.

Posted by PenguinDust

I admire their uniqueness of it, but it looks a bit too artsy for my simple tastes.

Posted by Rhombus_Of_Terror

Now I want to hunt down a copy of Vib Ribbon.

Posted by sickVisionz

I like the graphics.  They should make a Starfox games that goes back to pure vectors like the SNES one.

Posted by Tesla

Hey this is different.

Posted by Sammann31415

Hey, if you like what you see, as you've most likely already read, it's a "pay what you want" model, similar to Radiohead's In Rainbows. Check out the Kongregate demo on their site, and if you like it, download the thing and donate a couple of bones.  It's nice to see small game companies try something interesting, both in design and in business model.
For me, hey, I'm kinda broke, but I gave a couple euros.  The soundtrack to this is worth the donation by itself.

The music sounds a lot like Oval or Nobukazu Takemura.

Posted by IamTerics

I've been playing it and its sorta like Canablalt except it has levels with ends and an endless mode. I like the music

Posted by LtColJaxson

I never got to see any crazy trees when I was playing... I guess I didn't collect enough of those purple things? The arch on the jump was not always easy to judge when jumping to higher ledges... It seemed strange there can't be a method to collecting all the purple orbs...

Posted by JackSukeru

Not into it.

Posted by 3pwood

Does this game feature turning?

At least we agree on something...

So, do you press anything other than spacebar?

Posted by ProjektGill

I'm not great at playing really fast moving games like this and the more recent F-Zero. I would probably get disoriented really fast and lose track of what was going on. I hope it turns out good for the people into this type of game.

Posted by Scratch

Seems cool. But is it just gonna go in a straight line?

Posted by geirr

Want.... oh..oh... Got!

Posted by kn00tcn

oh my, look at all the open minded people here.....
gtfo if this is not for you & stop putting down people's hard work!
