Its a nice idea in a Full Spectrum Warrior kinda way. It seems to be the same idea. Although FSW had the correct camera angle for the gameplay style. This however, coulf of been a basic 3rd person cover based shooter had no one told you about the controls...

As people have already said, this game does seem a lot like Full Spectrum Warrior. That was one seriously underrated game. If this turns out to be anywhere near as good as FSW I will totally put money down on it, i'd need to play a trial first though.

I think it looks ok, I mean gears of war doesn't actually need free roaming if you think about it, and in fact the free roaming is where gears of war is cumbersome.

So good on them for trying something different

The Full Spec Warrior games are way underrated. You didn't actually do any of the shooting in those games though iirc, so the similarities only extend so far.

Both FSW games are up on Steam for pretty cheap and I reckon they probably hold up alright. Co-op is awesome but bitchin' hard (but awesome).
